Welcome to Round 5 of Least Fave Pink Single and finishing just outside the top 30 and therefore becoming the 4th single out is "Lady Marmalade" with 8 votes and in 31st place, the 2nd highest so far. Second highest was a tie between "Last To Know" and "Are We All We Are" with 4 votes each, (so could that mean that one of them will drop next). "Most Girls" got 3 votes after scoring none in the last round, and again "Just Give Me A Reason" scores 2 for the 2nd round in a row. "Get The Party Started" finally gets a vote after scoring 0 in the last 3 rounds, "Feel Good Time", "Trouble", Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)" each again scores 1 and for the first time "Glitter In The Air" gets a vote. All the others are safe for now. 31st Lady Marmalade = 30.77%  We have lost the mighty "Lady Marmalade" which was Pink's first ever #1 in many countries including the UK and the USA, and featuring Mya, Lil' Kim and Christina Aguilera. Released in March 2001 and featured on the soundtrack to "Moulin Rogue" and produced bv Missy Elliot and writing partner Rockwilder and originally sung by Labelle in 1974. But with totally revamped with new lyrics and topped the US charts for the 2nd time for 5 weeks and first time in the UK, in fact #1 in 15 countries, becoming the biggest selling song worldwide of the year with 5.2 Million copies. Becoming a career high for everybody involved. This also would be Pink's only US #1 up until 2008 with "So What". In the UK she would top the chart again the following year with "Just Like A Pill" Results So Far 31st Lady Marmalade (Ft Mya, Lil' Kim & Christina Aguilera) = 8/30.77% 32nd There You Go = 6/25.00% 33rd True Love = 9/33.33% 34th You Make Me Sick = 5/20.00% Okay same rules apply out of the 30 Pink songs left just vote for your least fave and the one with the most votes will be out. |
