The entire album is online now but he released a video for "Leave Your Lover" earlier this evening.

Pretty special, gorgeous song/video package.

Really great album! Enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Leave Your Lover is my favourite non-single but that might be helped by the fact that I watched the video beforehand. That ending!!! ohmy.gif

Strong debut, I do feel like Nirvana should have been on it though. A little more ballad-y than I'd have liked considering he made his name on two dance songs, but there we go.

A very enjoyable debut! Very ballad-y and melodic which is nice.

He came out as gay the other day, although it was pretty obvious really.

I have not heard the album but Leave Your Lover is gorgeous, so sad sad.gif.

Listening to this now. I haven't hidden my HATRED for 'Money On My Mind' as it's still one of the most annoying songs of the year but 'Stay With Me' hit me the other day and i just can't turn it off along with 'Leave Your Lover'.

Album is sounding quite samey but the highlights are wonderful.

Really want to hear the album now after Stay With Me hit. I don't think he IS the 'male Emeli Sande', in the sense that he's not going to be as hideously overexposed.

His albums has quite a lot of ballads except without the best one - Nirvana. But it's still very good. Think he will get a lot of exposure between now and 2015 he will be like John Newman at the end if last yr being on the big Xmas & New Year shows!

What a debut album. I feared at first that an album of ballads (mainly) would end up being boring, but each is just so unique production and vocal wise. Still prefer the live version of "I've Told You Now" (from the Nirvanna EP), but "Life Support" and "Good Thing" are standouts. Excited to see what's chosen as further singles and how well they all do.

Been playing this album to death for months... My favourites are from Good Things all the way to I'm not the only one and Lay me down.

I'm not the only one rose to No.5 this week. biggrin.gif

Got this for Christmas from the 'rents - LOVE it! So many standout lyrics but definite favourites would have to be the singles, I've Told You Now, Life Support and Good Thing.

Has this thread really not been commented on in nearly a year? huh.gif ohmy.gif

The Drowning Shadows edition is dreadful. I don't like the new Mary J Blige or A$AP Rocky and John Legend features being on this rerelease nor am I a fan of the 8 minute long version of Latch. So disappointing sad.gif drama.gif

Is it that surprising considering he's one of the most hated artists on here? tongue.gif

I have liked all his output this year though, including the Bond theme.

This is still top 100 in UK yet his most recent album isn’t.

Any reason this is outselling it so much? Is it down to streaming or is it just seen a classic album now that it’s always around.

Only really noticed today when checking the top 100.
