Sunday Chart Predictions
Predicting the 08/02 to 14/02 chart Following high demand, Ellie Goulding's song for the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, 'Love Me Like You Do', has been brought forward to this week and is set to become the first 2015 song to hit #1. Mike Mago & Dragonette's 'Outlines' should join it in the Top 10, whilst Kodaline's 'Honest' and perhaps Sofia Karlberg's cover of Beyonce's updated version of 'Crazy in Love' (the latter's to be used in Fifty Shades of Grey too) should enter the Top 40. On the subject of which, The Weeknd's 'Earned It' will continue to climb up the chart, as well as Maroon 5's 'Sugar'. In the albums, 73 year old Bob Dylan is aiming to get his eighth number one with his 36th studio album Shadows in the Night - a collection of covers of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra. Bob last topped the charts in 2009 with Together Through Life. Other artists' albums hoping to make a debut in the Top 40 include those by Kid Ink, Indiana, All We Are and Blind Generation. First Aid Kit may finally sneak into the Top 10 this week with third album Stay Gold following its serge last week due to their tour and Graham Norton Show appearance. ======================================================== Please note new changes to the Sunday Chart Predictions thread topic: Tuesday/Thursday - There will be no mids from MW for Tuesday and Thursday, however they may come from other sources - this is not always guaranteed. So... we could have 3 tracks from the 50SoG soundtrack album in the top 40, I can't remember the last time we had 3 tracks or more inside the 40 from one film, I think it was Grease.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ellie's sales! It's going to be over 100k but I'm hoping for around 130-150k!
Also, I'd love to see Mike Mago go top 10 this week, it's doing better on iTunes than I was expecting but I just hope streaming doesn't damage its chances to much |

I'm actually expecting a 150/160k sales week for Ellie. I suppose we'll see.

Did 3 from Frozen all appear in the same week? Let It Go Do You Want To Build A Snowman For The First Time In Forever Edit - yes, for 3 weeks from w/e 19/04/2014 Of course, completely forgotten, Sia could make it a 4th with "Salted Wound", which would be the most entries from a Motion Picture album for quite some time in a single week. I should imagine it be the #1 compilation album next week. |

QUOTE Mint Royale @MintRoyale 16s16 seconds ago Blimey, Ellie Goulding is about to have MASSIVE number 1. 74,384 sales already this week! QUOTE Mint Royale @MintRoyale · 23s 23 seconds ago That’s 3 times as many as the number 2 record (good old Ronson). https://twitter.com/MintRoyale |

QUOTE Mint Royale @MintRoyale · 1m 1 minute ago As exciting as that is, it’s one of only 3 new entries in the chart this week. *stifles a yawn* Mike Mago and Kodaline the other 2 new entries, I should think |

That should keep the #1 sales into 6 figures for a few more weeks yet, I should imagine she will easily pass 150k+ for the week. We shall see on further updates in the week.

QUOTE Mint Royale @MintRoyale · 6m 6 minutes ago Dire Straits googleplay 99pLet’s just ignore the Bob Dylan album that’ll be number 1 and have a long think about Dire Straits with Brothers In Arms at number 10. QUOTE Mint Royale @MintRoyale · 4m 4 minutes ago Lots of odd albums in the chart this week. I must check out Rick Wakeman's “The Six Wives Of Henry VIII”. (number 46) QUOTE Mint Royale @MintRoyale · 4m 4 minutes ago
And of course there’s a new T’Pau album out. Of course there is. |

A lot of those 74,384 will be pre-orders, but still I'd say she should easily pass 150k this week, probably closer to 200k

Did 3 from Frozen all appear in the same week? Anyone know how many tracks appeared a maximum in a top 100 week? I'm looking forward to seeing Ellie's sales! It's going to be over 100k but I'm hoping for around 130-150k! Also, I'd love to see Mike Mago go top 10 this week, its doing better on iTunes than I was expecting but I just hope streaming doesn't damage it's chances to much Cloning this post Can LMLYD reach 200k? I think that's stretching it a bit too far but in pop bars she's nearly twice the size of Uptown Funk, who's currently selling <100k ish per week recently, so she could get to around 180k! |

Surely Sia's a shoe-in for scraping into the top 10 this week? (11 on iTunes and 5 on Spotify)
