Terrible in every way - seconded.

I knew it wouldn't be amazing - it's been absolutely slated and is based on a poorly written book that was also slated by the critics. But I was hoping to get some guilty pleasure enjoyment from it.

It was so boring. The acting was terrible. And there was definite cycles of abuse being glamorised.

It's funny how a film so terrible can drag in so much money, and rich, sensitive and interesting films about female sexuality like 'Wild' struggle at the box office.

I'd say wild did very well at the box office

Really? $45,108,010 worldwide is pretty underwhelming.

It's done OKAY. It didn't flop. But considering its sheer quality, it should have been more popular.

50 shades will make 25,000000000000x as much money and is rubbish.

It's done a strong $81 million this weekend there but it's most likely going to finish its run at about $150-160 million which seems slightly underwhelming. But I did think it was going to be quite front-loaded so I'm not too surprised.

Did $21.1 million in the Uk which translates to around £13 million I think. Amazing start but I can't see it going over £25 million in the end, I'm expecting it to fall like a rock.

Saw this today (heels definitely helped me pass for 18) and it was a lot better than expected! I felt uncomfortable during the 'punishment' scene and was a bit bored in places (the film felt like it went on long then suddenly the ending was so abrupt!) but yes it was enjoyable. The soundtrack was BRILLIANTLY edited into each scene, and Mr Grey was FAB to look at *.* Some passable acting in places but I liked both portrayals of the roles overall.

What's worse is my friend genuinely went to see it for Rita Ora alone Literally DURING her going to it I saw this article "everything Rita Ora says in 50 Shades" and it was barley a few lines

Rita Ora put in a full compliment of prep work for her role as Mia Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"I prepped for the role by learning some French first of all, by learning an American accent and by really just not being me," Ora told MTV in April of 2014, months after she was cast as Christian Grey's sister. "I had a brown wig on and I was being the smart girl that came from French school to see her family, so it was just a lot of dedication, it was like going back to school."

Speaking to MTV in May of that same year, Ora revealed she had an acting coach for the film, too. "It was really nice to get into a whole other world that I wasn't used to, but it was pretty difficult," she said of her foray into movies.

Yet despite all that effort, Ora appears in less than two minutesof the 125-minute film. She says a grand total of four sentences, one of which is spoken in French. ("I had to have someone in my ear on set telling me what to say before I said it. Because I was honestly so nervous, I forgot everything I learned," she told Access Hollywood.)
