hello riser !
1. Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney FourFiveSeconds another fantastic lead single from her, such a different direction but she pulls it off yet again. ' a #4 UK peak for this is SO frustrating though 2. Imagine Dragons I Bet My Life [38-30-2] 3. Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do [12-3] omg at this taking off all over the world, really solidifying herself as a pop force 4. Maroon 5 Sugar [17-4] their singles so far this era have been so on point, really enjoyed both this and animals. this is a fun little pop song. 5. Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud [23-8-5] 6. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4-6] 7. Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin [27-1-2-7] 8. Eves The Behavior TV 9. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1-9] 10. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer [36-10] 11. One Direction Night Changes [25-7-11] 14. Sia Elastic Heart a #11 UK peak is so irritating, especially when it keeps missing out. as long as it is remembered in the long run, i want her to push another single too ! 15. Echosmith Bright 16. Vance Joy Riptide [28-5-15-18-16] 17. Taylor Swift Style doesn't have the same spark of the first two singles for me, i'd have gone with out of the woods or wildest dreams i think. 18. Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo Time Of Our Lives [34-18] 19. OneRepublic I Lived [11-30-3-19] 20. Hozier Take Me To Church [20-14-16-20] 21. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19-21] 22. Maroon 5 Animals [1-1-2-9-22] 24. Milky Chance Flashed Junk Mind their best single for me, it took a while to grow but it really is just perfect on the ears. need to listen to their album really because i've loved all singles. 25. Chris Brown x Tyga Ayo this is like loyal but much better, the collab album is also very good. hope it does well over in the US 26. Usher feat. Juicy J I Dont Mind the lyrics to this are so fun, it's quite a nice little track and much stronger than GK and SCTGITY so I'm glad it seems to be doing better 27. Sam Smith Im Not The Only One [2-6-14-27] 28. Selena Gomez The Heart Wants What It Wants [40-23-28] 32. Charli XCX feat. Rita Ora Doing It 33. Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih Somebody the way she says her name at the start the song is huge jam though, jeremih seems to be getting on to all the good stuff at the moment 34. Ne-Yo Coming With You 35. Foo Fighters Something From Nothing 36. Take That These Days [21-22-36] 37. Beyonce 7/11 [20-11-37] 38. G.R.L. Lighthouse 39. Taylor Swift Blank Space [7-4-5-39] 40. Alesso feat. Hello to
(no idea what this means/where it came from but it seems to be the new hip way to greet people on here) Your #1 . I remember both of us were put off somewhat by Kanye's verse at first but I quickly grew to love it and it seems you did too. A bit of a masterstroke of a comeback single for Rihanna and it worked incredibly well at the Grammys with all three of them on stage - one of my favourite Grammy performances ever, I think. Really liking 'Sugar' these days, although the chorus still grates a bit for me. I'm amazed that it's doing so well everywhere. Really shows the power an inspired music video can have when it catches on (assuming that's the main reason the song's become such a big hit and I'm not missing something). We have matching #8's for Eves! Actually, I'm surprised it's there at all as I wasn't sure you if you tend to chart BJSC songs/discoveries? I listened to it today and it's never sounded better. Would love it to do something commercially. Hopefully Australia and New Zealand will be kind at least, knowing them (currently #155 in Oz ). That's quite a fall for 'Blank Space' . Its appeal has worn off a lot for me now but I'd probably still see it as the best single from the album so far, though 'Style' is currently growing on me a lot. I presume your favourite is (still) 'Shake It Off' overall? |

I definitely think it's the video that made Sugar a hit but the song is still strong in its own right. TV should be a huge force to be reckoned with in next year's Triple J's Hottest 100!! Shake It Off is indeed still my favorite You've presumed correctly, WD Thanks byeeee |

Sup Jordan! I always meant to ask you where the 'Riser' username came from? (unless it's too rude to publish )
1. Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney FourFiveSeconds Took a while to grow on me but I think this is a nice song. 2. Imagine Dragons I Bet My Life [38-30-2] This seemed to be getting a bit of a universal slating but I really like it however I don't think the album's as good as their first one. 3. Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do [12-3] Kinda over this now tbh. 4. Maroon 5 Sugar [17-4] Random geeky fact but I think that's the same jump that 'Animals' made on my chart 5. Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud [23-8-5] 6. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4-6] 7. Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin [27-1-2-7] 9. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1-9] 10. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer [36-10] 11. One Direction Night Changes [25-7-11] Boo, I wanted this to keep climbing! 14. Sia Elastic Heart Yay, Number 1 next month please 15. Echosmith Bright Has this been pushed as a single in the US then? Is it getting much airplay or doing anything chart-wise? 17. Taylor Swift Style I'm surprised this isn't racing up the charts tbh. 21. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19-21] Still one of the best songs released in 2014 22. Maroon 5 Animals [1-1-2-9-22] 24. Milky Chance Flashed Junk Mind Another surprisingly good song from them, I probably should check out the album cos I've liked all 3 of the singles from it! 26. Usher feat. Juicy J I Dont Mind He's nowehere near as good as he once was. I'm sure I'll get round to hearing this soon. 27. Sam Smith Im Not The Only One [2-6-14-27] 32. Charli XCX feat. Rita Ora Doing It An unlikely but surprisingly decent collaboration from these two ladies. 34. Ne-Yo Coming With You Not a bad comeback from him, and his album has a few half-decent songs on it too 35. Foo Fighters Something From Nothing Didn't think too much of this single but I love follow-up 'Congregation' 36. Take That These Days [21-22-36] 38. G.R.L. Lighthouse Really hoping this can go Top 40 for them. 39. Taylor Swift Blank Space [7-4-5-39] 40. Alesso feat. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10-40] Quite a few songs in your chart I haven't heard of this month, but love most of the ones I know |

Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4-6] 9. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1-9] 10. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer [36-10][/b] 14. Sia Elastic Heart 16. Vance Joy Riptide [28-5-15-18-16] 17. Taylor Swift Style 18. Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo Time Of Our Lives [34-18] 20. Hozier Take Me To Church [20-14-16-20] 21. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19-21] 22. Maroon 5 Animals [1-1-2-9-22] 25. Chris Brown x Tyga Ayo 26. Usher feat. Juicy J I Dont Mind 28. Selena Gomez The Heart Wants What It Wants [40-23-28] 32. Charli XCX feat. Rita Ora Doing It 33. Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih Somebody 34. Ne-Yo Coming With You 36. Take That These Days [21-22-36] 38. G.R.L. Lighthouse 39. Taylor Swift Blank Space [7-4-5-39] 40. Alesso feat. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10-40] Sup Jordan! I always meant to ask you where the 'Riser' username came from? (unless it's too rude to publish ) Hi Mango! It's not rude at all , it's the album title for Dierks Bentley, my favorite country artist (and my #31 this month )1. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10-40] Quite a few songs in your chart I haven't heard of this month, but love most of the ones I know 1. It's a very nice song, sounds very 90s to me (it helps that they're wearing denim ) 2. Yeah I wish there was a better reaction to this song at least! Haven't listened to the album yet. 3. I'm getting close to that point too 4. Random geeky facts are the best facts! 11. Sorry! I'm actually getting tired of it but that's because I've been lucky enough to hear it on the radio a lot! 14. I'd tell you if I could but it's a little too early to predict 15. It's being pushed now! Airplay is slowly picking up but it'll need at least another month to take off, if it does. 17. Me too! What's up with that? 24. Josh gave the same comment I would agree probably, I imagine it'd be a good summer road trip CD 26. Listen to it! It's different from his last two singles. But you're right Usher has lost a lot of his appeal. 34. I think it's a spectacular comeback! More 90s vibes 35. Just checked out Congregation today It sounded pretty nice, but so do all of their songs IMO! 38. Same! Heck, all of Buzzjack is hoping for that. Thank you for commenting as always!!! Hey Jordan Hiya Jade! Hmm, country is not what I'd classify it at all, but I'd be on board for that too Definitely makes you wonder what the rest of her album will sound like!My faves: 1. Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney FourFiveSeconds 3. Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do [12-3] 5. Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud [23-8-5] 6. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4-6] 7. Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin [27-1-2-7] 9. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1-9] 10. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer [36-10] 14. Sia Elastic Heart 16. Vance Joy Riptide [28-5-15-18-16] 17. Taylor Swift Style 20. Hozier Take Me To Church [20-14-16-20] 21. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19-21] 22. Maroon 5 Animals [1-1-2-9-22] 27. Sam Smith Im Not The Only One [2-6-14-27] 28. Selena Gomez The Heart Wants What It Wants [40-23-28] 32. Charli XCX feat. Rita Ora Doing It 36. Take That These Days [21-22-36] 38. G.R.L. Lighthouse Some great tunes here!
