She's lasted 2010-2015 now, which isn't something we can look down on imo. I think the media hype in 2011 made a lot of people hate her, but that was never Jessie J's fault. On the contrary, I think most of it was her fault. It was her who quite blatantly divided people into two camps, the "Heartbeats" and "Haters". |

I don't look down on Jessie J for her continued success. I look down on those who purchase her music.

The most popular song of 2003 was 'Where Is the Love?' by the Black Eyed Peas (sales don't lie ) The top 10 singles for that year was: In regards to cultural impact though, I'd argue that numbers 1, 5, 6, 7 & 8 would head the pack, so I definitely see what you mean 'Ignition Remix', 'Bring Me To Life' & 'Breathe' were absolute monster hits too though. 2003 was a good year all in all! I would argue the most classic songs on that top 10 list nowadays would be R.Kelly, Beyonce, 50 Cent, BEPs & Evanescence! But thats just me lol |

Nice to see Ciara is holding up on iTunes. No chance of top 40 now but should hopefully get another couple weeks top 75.

I would argue the most classic songs on that top 10 list nowadays would be R.Kelly, Beyonce, 50 Cent, BEPs & Evanescence! But thats just me lol I'd agree with all of that, even though I love Breathe too. I remember In Da Club made everyone want to be like 50 Cent and act all gangsta. I still think 2003 was the best year of the noughties for music, the amount of classics released that year that still sound fresh is remarkable. |

In better news;
26. Disclosure - Holding On (feat. Gregory Porter) Not far from 'Bang That's iTunes peak (#19). As it's their first actual single from album 2 it should be heading for the top 10 anyway, good progress for it so far |

We also forgot 'Lose Yourself'! Surely Eminem's signature hit/one of the biggest rap songs of all time? Released just a week before Girls Aloud I think, so if we can include them, we can include him!
SO good to see Jessie slaying the charts again <3 |

'Lose Yourself' isn't Eminem's biggest selling song (that would be LTWYL) but I'd definitely say it's more remembered/has more cultural impact!
It was #25 in the biggest selling songs of 2003 and #32 in the 2002 chart, and has been a good trickle seller, must be on about 900k sales or something |

100 Charli XCX Famous
Good to see this has cracked the top 100, hopefully it'll make the top 100 on Spotify next week and manage to chart. |

Not forgetting her renouncing her bisexuality as a phase My personal favourite was when she ranted about people comparing her to Katy Perry and P!nk because of her hair, not because 'Domino' was a rip off of 'Last Friday Night' and 'It's My Party' was a rip off of 'Raise Your Glass'. |
