Last year's runner-up Eugenie Bouchard could be a doubt for Wimbledon after pulling out of the Aegon International injured.

Eighth seed David Ferrer has pulled out of Wimbledon due to a elbow injury. It opens a possible Murray-Nadal quarter-final match.

I don't see Nadal getting anywhere near the QF's, sadly.

Aw that's a real shame about Ferrer . Always puts in such a great effort. Would love to see him finally win a Grand Slam sometime.

I usually watch it from the last 16, and all the Murray matches. I don't bother with the Ladies, all I hear is a lot of grunting noises which I can do without.

Well done to Britain's Liam Broady winning in 5 sets to go through to the second round.
Serena Williams also comfortably through to the second round. Thank you very much Gage for doing the "Today's Show Court Ties" for us. |

I'm watching the Hewitt/Nieminen match at the moment where it's 9-9 in the final set, the atmosphere is incredible thanks to the Australian fans!

Third seed Simona Halep is out after losing in three sets to Jana Cepelova and also last year's runner-up Eugenie Bouchard is out. Halep is the first top three seed to go out of the first round in the women's draw since Martina Hingis in 2001. Halep and Bouchard played each other in last year's semi-final.
Murray comfortably through. Watson through, Robson, Edmund, Klein out. Federer. Nadal, Kvitora comfortably though |
