Definitely has a chance of progressing to the latter stages of Wimbledon as she reached at least the quarter-finals in her last 5 times at Wimbledon. Missed 2010 to injury.

I usually watch it from the last 16, and all the Murray matches. I don't bother with the Ladies, all I hear is a lot of grunting noises which I can do without.

Third seed Simona Halep is out after losing in three sets to Jana Cepelova and also last year's runner-up Eugenie Bouchard is out. Halep is the first top three seed to go out of the first round in the women's draw since Martina Hingis in 2001. Halep and Bouchard played each other in last year's semi-final.

Murray comfortably through.

Watson through, Robson, Edmund, Klein out.

Federer. Nadal, Kvitora comfortably though
