Hey Noah! I thought from the sub-title that you were going to chart an old Oasis song
01 | 21 | Miguel ft. Wale | Coffee (F***ing) [21-01] Not a fan of this I'm afraid. 02 | 02 | Years & Years | Shine [02-02] 03 | ** | Jason Derulo | Cheyenne This is brilliant, his pop stuff is so much better than his urban stuff, and I'm really happy he's going down this route for his next album. Hopefully another No. 1 for him 04 | 01 | Ciara | I Bet [01-04] 05 | 13 | Florence + The Machine | Ship To Wreck [13-05] My fave Florence single 06 | 06 | Major Lazer & DJ Snake ft. MØ | Lean On [05-06-06] Just giving the album a listen, it's got some alright songs on it actually 07 | ** | Jason Derulo | Want To Want Me Nowhere near as good as Cheyenne! 08 | ** | Selena Gomez ft. A$AP Rocky | Good For You This is great, love her voice on it. Just needs radio to get on board, and it should be a big hit. 09 | 31 | Mumford & Sons | Believe [31-09] 11 | 27 | Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar | Bad Blood [27-11] 23 | ** | Foxes | Body Talk Haven't heard this yet, is it a similar sound to her last album? 24 | ** | OMI | Cheerleader 25 | 14 | Marlon Roudette | When The Beat Drops Out [24-10-14-25] 27 | ** | Tinie Tempah ft. Jess Glynne | Not Letting Go 28 | 19 | Ariana Grande | One Last Time [04-03-07-19-28] 29 | ** | James Bay | Let It Go 30 | --- | Walk The Moon | Shut Up And Dance [11-23-42-xx-xx-xx-xx-30] 31 | ** | Elliphant | Love Me Badder This needs to SMASH! 32 | 45 | Nick Jonas | Chains [45-32] Not quite as good as Jealous but should still give him another Top 10 I reckon. 33 | 11 | Years & Years | King [01-01-02-03-11-33] 34 | ** | Maroon 5 | This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf***er I'm sure I'll grow to like it but I'm still not sure about it. 37 | 37 | Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell | Firestone [27-23-37-37] 38 | ** | Carly Rae Jepson | Run Away With Me A brilliant follow up to I Really Like You. Such a great song, really hope it does well! Kinda excited for the album now. 39 | 12 | Brandon Flowers | Can't Deny My Love [01-02-12-39] 41 | 07 | Brandon Flowers | Lonely Town [28-07-41] 44 | ** | Fetty Wap | Trap Queen Still can't get enough of this, sounds perfect in this heatwave too! 45 | 18 | Sia | Fire Meet Gasoline [40-18-45] 48 | ** | Skrillex & Diplo ft. Justin Bieber | Where Are Ü Now 50 | ** | Little Mix | Black Magic Do you think this will go to No. 1? It's certainly getting a lot of hype, more so than 'Move' did I think. Great chart as usual this month! This post has been edited by Mango: 1st July 2015, 11:52 AM |

Hello Noah
01 | 21 | Miguel ft. Wale | Coffee (F***ing) [21-01] 02 | 02 | Years & Years | Shine [02-02] 04 | 01 | Ciara | I Bet [01-04] 05 | 13 | Florence + The Machine | Ship To Wreck [13-05] 06 | 06 | Major Lazer & DJ Snake ft. MØ | Lean On [05-06-06] 07 | ** | Jason Derulo | Want To Want Me One of his best for me now, he definitely shines more with his pop stuff like this and In My Head/Ridin Solo compared to his RNB stuff, he just sounds cheesy/naff when attempting the latter in stuff like Talk Dirty/Wiggle etc. for me. 09 | 31 | Mumford & Sons | Believe [31-09] 11 | 27 | Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar | Bad Blood [27-11] 20 | 38 | Becky G | Lovin' So Hard [38-20] 23 | ** | Foxes | Body Talk 24 | ** | OMI | Cheerleader 25 | 14 | Marlon Roudette | When The Beat Drops Out [24-10-14-25] 27 | ** | Tinie Tempah ft. Jess Glynne | Not Letting Go Tinie does his job well as usual but it's Jess who really shines here for me, she's on a roll with the hits too, her voice sounds heavenly when she belts it. The repeated go's will be the soundtrack to my summer, I love the middle 8 too where she says about cant be bought or sold or something, it's so fun to sing along with. 28 | 19 | Ariana Grande | One Last Time [04-03-07-19-28] 29 | ** | James Bay | Let It Go I am so glad he went back to this, it's a lovely ballad and much less tiresome than HBTR, hope he continues to be successful to the likes of perhaps George Ezra because he's just as talented. Hoping for If You Ever Want to Be In Love as the next single. 30 | --- | Walk The Moon | Shut Up And Dance [11-23-42-xx-xx-xx-xx-30] 31 | ** | Elliphant | Love Me Badder Beyond disappointed with this, I was so excited to see what she'd come back with after the unique One More and she comes back with a pop song and a boring one at that 32 | 45 | Nick Jonas | Chains [45-32] 33 | 11 | Years & Years | King [01-01-02-03-11-33] 34 | ** | Maroon 5 | This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf***er 36 | 15 | Kendrick Lamar | King Kunta [17-15-36] 37 | 37 | Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell | Firestone [27-23-37-37] 39 | 12 | Brandon Flowers | Can't Deny My Love [01-02-12-39] 40 | 29 | Tove Lo | Moments [32-29-40] 41 | 07 | Brandon Flowers | Lonely Town [28-07-41] 42 | ** | Omarion ft. Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko | Post To Be 43 | 24 | Kwabs | Perfect Ruin [02-04-08-24-43] 44 | ** | Fetty Wap | Trap Queen Shocked at how massive this has been, I'd never have expected it to take off the way it has here but I'm so glad it has, I hope this paves the way for more new hiphop music to be hits, it's just a shame jams like No Type/I Don't f*** With You couldn't do the same. I hope Watch Me (whip/nae nae) can build off the back of this. 45 | 18 | Sia | Fire Meet Gasoline [40-18-45] 46 | 22 | Kwabs | Fight For Love [22-46] 48 | ** | Skrillex & Diplo ft. Justin Bieber | Where Are Ü Now 49 | 46 | Josef Salvat | Open Season [01-03-09-14-29-47-46-49] 50 | ** | Little Mix | Black Magic This post has been edited by Josh.: 1st July 2015, 12:02 PM |

Hi Andy
Coffee is still wonderful, I've come around to the solo version more nowadays. oh and Cheyenne too <3 i'm not sure what's going on with Jason now releasing a bunch of good tracks recently, to heavily compensate for horrors like Wiggle perhaps? either way, i'm down with it All about BODY TALK though her singles following Youth weren't really on the same level to me, delighted she's now come back with something almost as good as Youth! There seems to be an error with your chart though, I can't seem to find The Honourable Sir John Newman CBE Six-Time UK #1 Artiste anywhere All is forgiven though, this is great stuff <3 |

Hi!
01 | 21 | Miguel ft. Wale | Coffee (F***ing) [21-01] Yass I approve. Lack of airplay has kept me from listening to this much, which I should really rectify. 02 | 02 | Years & Years | Shine [02-02] 04 | 01 | Ciara | I Bet [01-04] 05 | 13 | Florence + The Machine | Ship To Wreck [13-05] 06 | 06 | Major Lazer & DJ Snake ft. MØ | Lean On [05-06-06] 07 | ** | Jason Derulo | Want To Want Me 08 | ** | Selena Gomez ft. A$AP Rocky | Good For You I'm stuck with the same opinion I had with The Heart Wants What It Wants Pleasant enough but her restraint leaves me wanting more. Much prefer her generic pop jams I suppose. 09 | 31 | Mumford & Sons | Believe [31-09] 11 | 27 | Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar | Bad Blood [27-11] 15 | ** | Eves The Behavior | Electrical 16 | 05 | Daniella Mason | Shade of You [05-16] This song 18 | 08 | CamelPhat ft. A*M*E | Paradigm [08-18] 20 | 38 | Becky G | Lovin' So Hard [38-20] 21 | 03 | MONAKR | Calling Out [06-03-21] 22 | 04 | Erik Hassle | No Words [01-04-22] 24 | ** | OMI | Cheerleader 25 | 14 | Marlon Roudette | When The Beat Drops Out [24-10-14-25] 28 | 19 | Ariana Grande | One Last Time [04-03-07-19-28] 29 | ** | James Bay | Let It Go I could easily mistake this for The Script when listening to the verses. What do you think? 30 | --- | Walk The Moon | Shut Up And Dance [11-23-42-xx-xx-xx-xx-30] 32 | 45 | Nick Jonas | Chains [45-32] 33 | 11 | Years & Years | King [01-01-02-03-11-33] 34 | ** | Maroon 5 | This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf***er YAY! Very much obsessed with this so I'm thrilled you like it too. 37 | 37 | Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell | Firestone [27-23-37-37] 38 | ** | Carly Rae Jepson | Run Away With Me Another error Will fix after I post (remind me if I forget). Haven't listened yet but I've seen the overwhelmingly positive response . 40 | 29 | Tove Lo | Moments [32-29-40] Don't know this but I discovered fellow album track "My Gun" whilst clothes shopping, and it's great! 41 | 07 | Brandon Flowers | Lonely Town [28-07-41] 42 | ** | Omarion ft. Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko | Post To Be 43 | 24 | Kwabs | Perfect Ruin [02-04-08-24-43] 44 | ** | Fetty Wap | Trap Queen 48 | ** | Skrillex & Diplo ft. Justin Bieber | Where Are Ü Now 50 | ** | Little Mix | Black Magic DO you think this will go to #1? Overlap is back in full force this month! |

Hi Andy
I've heard the solo clean edit of Coffee (F**king) on the radio, it's not bad actually! Nice to see it at #1 Selena's new track is incredible, already one of my favourites by her, such a huge shift in direction but at the same time it feels almost quite natural. I really hope it can eventually make the top 40, it's too good to miss out! Loving the debut for Let It Go too, it took a slower start for me than Hold Back the River but I'm loving it right now, the perfect follow-up! I hope he picks something a bit more upbeat for single #3 however, I'd rather he avoided the "dull" comments in the Chart Show thread Fabulous chart, as always |

Justin Bieber | Where Are Ü Now 50 | ** | Little Mix | Black Magic Do you think this will go to No. 1? It's certainly getting a lot of hype, more so than 'Move' did I think. Great chart as usual this month! Hi Mango! Haha, much as I love Oasis, the subtitle's just a reference to the somewhat ~lewd~ lyrics of 'Coffee' (with 'glory' also referring to its #1 status here )! Agreed re: 'Cheyenne'! I've been very pleasantly surprised by Jason's recent output - a real return to form after 'Wiggle' and the like. Interesting that 'Ship To Wreck' is already your favorite Florence single! It'd be fairly high on my list but there's just so much competition . Not sure anything could ever overtake 'Dog Days Are Over' for me as it's among my favourite songs ever! Definitely with you on hoping 'Good For You' will be a nicely-sized hit. I'm actually a little surprised with the level of appreciation for it on Buzzjack and elsewhere given its understated nature but it's great to see. I never heard Foxes' album but from the stuff I know of hers, 'Body Talk' would be a departure into 80s roller-disco-esque territory for sure. 'This Summer's Gonna Hurt...' was a big grower for me, having really not got the fuss initially, so don't give up on it! 'Run Away With Me' has been a bit of a revelation cos I wasn't really feeling the comeback single. Think it's already my favourite of hers and I've only heard it a few times! Ooh I'll have to put 'listening to 'Trap Queen' in the sun' on the agenda then ! And yeah, things are looking good for a Little Mix #1, which is pretty amazing when you consider they're an XF girlband 3.5 years into their career! I'd be happy to see it happen, even if the song itself is far from their best. TY! Hello Noah 01 | 21 | Miguel ft. Wale | Coffee (F***ing) [21-01] 02 | 02 | Years & Years | Shine [02-02] 04 | 01 | Ciara | I Bet [01-04] 05 | 13 | Florence + The Machine | Ship To Wreck [13-05] 06 | 06 | Major Lazer & DJ Snake ft. Justin Bieber | Where Are Ü Now 49 | 46 | Josef Salvat | Open Season [01-03-09-14-29-47-46-49] 50 | ** | Little Mix | Black Magic Josh, thanks for the comments! Our Derulopinions seem very aligned based on what you said (although in saying that, I know you're not much of a fan of 'Cheyenne' ). That's a nice insight into 'Not Letting Go' as I haven't listened to it enough to have noticed all that! I'd definitely agree that Jess sounds great on it though, and I'm usually indifferent to her stuff. I can't say I like it more than 'Hold Back The River' (yet) as that's had very good staying-power with me but 'Let It Go' is really beautiful, especially the chorus . I actually prefer James to George Ezra so I'd agree with you on hoping he attains that level of success. Ah, interesting - I'm not familiar with Elliphant beyond 'Love Me Badder' so had no expectations for it, unlike yourself. I'm not even completely sold on that one but it's quite catchy at least. Yeah, would never have called 'Trap Queen' being so big and a bit of a hip-hop revival in the charts would be very much welcome. I used to find the vocals/rapping overly whiney and annoying but I've recently changed my mind and see it more for the jam that it is. Hi Andy Coffee is still wonderful, I've come around to the solo version more nowadays. oh and Cheyenne too <3 i'm not sure what's going on with Jason now releasing a bunch of good tracks recently, to heavily compensate for horrors like Wiggle perhaps? either way, i'm down with it All about BODY TALK though her singles following Youth weren't really on the same level to me, delighted she's now come back with something almost as good as Youth! There seems to be an error with your chart though, I can't seem to find The Honourable Sir John Newman CBE Six-Time UK #1 Artiste anywhere All is forgiven though, this is great stuff <3 Heyyy Seven! I haven't really given the solo version of 'Coffee' enough of a chance as the Wale one has always been my go-to - either way though it's a truly sensational track . And it's gonna take about a half-dozen more top-notch pop bops from Derulo over the next few years to fully compensate for 'Wiggle'-inflicted traumas but he's on the right path at least. Agreed with you on no subsequent Foxes singles touching 'Youth' (not to say they were bad at all - just a little throwaway) and though it's too early for me to say, I can see 'Body Talk' potentially being a real return to form. Ah but I've decided to withhold the debut of Sir Newman CBE's latest gift to the world for my July chart in order to coincide with the two year anniversary of his first solo UK #1 and OPUS 'Love Me Again' . That, and I haven't heard the new song yet. Bye. |

Hey Noah
Quite the jump there for your number one! Although one would expect such if your charts are monthly Anyway~ I am obsessed with 'Coffee' at the moment! Haven't heard the Wale version yet but the original is silky smooth. 'Cheyenne' is also a wondrous addition to your top three, it took a few listens to grow but I am now fully on board, WHAT a pop song! He can be really good when he wants to be. I'm pretty much on board with most of your new entries, actually! Some were super instant like sultry Selena or Foxes new one (was SO impressed with that!) whilst some have been growers, most notably 'Trap Queen' which gets better with every listen, being my only climber this week. Fab stuff |

Apols for lateness!
Hiii, Wasn't sure of your opinion on 'Coffee', so that's good to know! Haven't been keeping track of its chart progress in the US so I'm just gonna delude myself that this 'lack of airplay' you speak of is simply down to ~swag~ deficiencies in your radio stations of choice. Selena isn't a very talented vocalist so I'd argue that the 'restraint' in those tracks is more so her being aware of how to work within her limits , nah but I do get how it and THWWIW could be underwhelming ! I just think both of them are very slick affairs and manage to make a much more interesting statement than most of her pop stuff, and I think they'll stand the test of time (but she's also had a few very catchy bops which will probably be worth revisiting too). Yep, I hear similarities to Danny's vocals in the verses of 'Let It Go', especially on the delivery of 'getting drunk', aptly enough (cos IRISH geddit ). Ah, well 'This Summer's Gonna Hurt...' will probably continue to grow on me, you'll be happy to know! And I agree with what you said about it sounding like it was the result of an experimental hour in the studio, in seeming kind of thrown together (but of course working incredibly well as an end result). Gah I obviously wasn't paying enough attention during the all-important Preview Post stage . Thanks for that - hopefully I won't have to utilise your editing services next month . Oh and yes, 'Run Away With Me' deserves all the hype and is only so low on here because I haven't heard it enough. Definitely worth checking out! Not heard 'My Gun' but Tove can't do much wrong for me so that's unsurprising (I'm so used to finishing sentences with a so here's one anyway even if it's contradictory~). Yes I do. Woop @ overlap , thanks for commenting! Hi Andy I've heard the solo clean edit of Coffee (F**king) on the radio, it's not bad actually! I hope he picks something a bit more upbeat for single #3 however, I'd rather he avoided the "dull" comments in the Chart Show thread Fabulous chart, as always Hi Joseph! Nice! I much prefer the original and love Wale's contribution but I'm glad the song's getting exposure in any of its forms~ Yeah Selena's new sound does sound like a natural progression, oddly enough. 'Good For You' would be already up there as one of my favourite tracks of hers too so here's hoping it ends up charting well. Yep it's a great follow-up and a really gorgeous song. I actually unwittingly listened to a playlist of James' songs on Youtube the other day after I played 'Let It Go' and never turned it off and was really impressed - it seems he has a lot of potential singles (though I doubt he'll ever avoid the 'dull' comments in the chart show thread no matter what he releases, but such is life). Thanks! Noah, 01 | 21 | Miguel ft. Yeah 'Breathe' is their Blu Cantrell cover which I've been hearing a lot because my Student Union hammers it for some reason! It's subsequently really grown on me and I think I might prefer it to the original at this stage. I prefer 'Jealous' to 'Chains' as well but I find them hard to compare, with 'Jealous' being so much more instant and catchy and 'Chains' a bit of a slow burner. Haha, I wouldn't call myself a Chris Brown fan but I tend to like most of his singles (or those he's featured on), 'Fine China' being my favourite of the last few years. 'Post To Be' is a jam as well though of course. TY! Hey Noah Quite the jump there for your number one! Some were super instant like sultry Selena or Foxes new one (was SO impressed with that!) whilst some have been growers, most notably 'Trap Queen' which gets better with every listen, being my only climber this week. Fab stuff Hi Jade Indeed, I find it hard enough to keep on top of a monthly thread so I'd flop horribly in charge of a weekly one! But yeah, 'Coffee' would have had a more gradual climb to #1 by the week - always been a fan of Miguel's smooth vocals on it but it's definitely grown a lot. Yep, I'm starting to think 'Cheyenne' could be Jason's 'best' single ever actually, in the sense that it suits him perfectly and seems like it could only be his, when I find the majority of his songs are pretty faceless, catchy and enjoyable as they can be. Foxes really impressed me too as I kind of had her down as having peaked musically with 'Youth', and 'Trap Queen' has been a major grower for me as well, having disliked Fetty's rapping style/delivery at first. Cheers Jade! This post has been edited by Noahspike: 9th July 2015, 12:27 AM |

Miguel's album is AMAZING. I can't wait to see him later this year. Fab #1. I don't love the explicit version though. Also, your #2 is my favourite song of the year (Sorry Charli XCX/Carly), as I'm sure you'll have seen. It's looking like an official #2 too. (The album has nothing as good as 'Shine', but 'Eyes Shut' and 'Gold' are stand outs for me of the non-singles)
Major love for the Selena track too. I love her moody, sensual vocals on her most recent singles. I better listen to that Josef song, sharpish because I've enjoyed most of his stuff so far. Too much to comment on, but great chart all the same |

Hey Andy
01 | 21 | Miguel ft. Wale | Coffee (F***ing) [21-01] FAB #1. Has spent a month at the top for me too. So delectable and saucy, whilst still sounding so classy. Too much to comment on, but great chart all the same That's great to know, especially as I finally gave 'Kaleidoscope Dream' a couple of listens recently and really enjoyed it. Will get around to the new one imminently! Ah, I'd love to see him live sometime - I eagerly await a full review from you in the thread afterwards. 'Shine' being an official #2 hit is better than I'd have thought a month or so ago so it's a job well done I think, and it was an excellent choice of single to lead the album. 'Eyes Shut' is indeed a highlight whereas 'Gold' wouldn't be a big standout for me, but I know we also agree on 'Border' . Really can't get enough of the album right now! Yeah it's great that Selena's seemingly found her niche with those tracks and 'Till I Found You' is wonderful, especially alongside its video. Thanks Joe! Hey Andy 01 | 21 | Miguel ft. They are very consistent and still manage to switch it up each era! Fab stuff and i will make sure i check out the gaps that i have yet to hear ~ Hi Bal! Hadn't thought of that really but Miguel does manage to deliver the track as quite a classy, sophisticated affair when some of the lyrics are anything but ! 'Kaleidoscope Dream' definitely impressed me so I'm looking forward to hearing the new album. 'Eyes Shut' won't stop growing on me and would be the best option as a follow-up single to 'Shine'. Needs to happen. I remember you saying that about 'Till I Found You' at the time and I kind of agreed, but the video subsequently made it click with me and I'd see it as being on the same (very high) level as 'Hustler', Open Season', 'Shoot and Run' etc. now. Josef's voice is strong enough to sell pretty much any track to me though! Yeah 'Love Me Badder' sounds like a smash so I'd be surprised if it didn't do decently and 'Run Away With Me' came at me out of nowhere as well! Wasn't anticipating Carly's new stuff but that song is just undeniably brilliant. <3 I've loved all the Sia singles as well. Haven't heard the full album - I'd heard/read mixed reviews of it and I'd imagine her vocals grate after a while which has put me off a bit, but in small doses she really delivers! 'Where Are Ü Now' is pretty good but a bit underwhelming for me. Will have to give the video a go to see if my opinion changes. Still not fully sold on 'Black Magic' as it doesn't have anything special about it like 'Move' and other singles of theirs have had, other than being a big, catchy pop song. Glad it'll be such a hit for them though as they deserve to be around for another good while yet. Thanks for commenting! |

'Good For You' would already be high up on my fave Selena tracks too, probably third after THWWIW and LYLALS (why are her song titles so damn long? ). Yeah I was really won over by the single version of 'Bad Blood', along with the excellent video, as it seemed like one of the weaker tracks on the album prior to that. All the changes they made worked wonders . <3 'Youth' and 'Holding Onto Heaven' would be the best Foxes tracks for me as well, and I can see 'Body Talk' overtaking the latter when I give it a bit more time. Really wasn't expecting her to come back with something so strong! I'd love 'Moments' to be a single as well, and I think it would have been a smarter choice than 'Timebomb'. The chorus is just too good to be kept away from radio. I'm slowly coming around to 'Black Magic'. It's a lot of fun and very catchy but there's still something missing for me. Thanks for the comments. |
