I frequently revisit early gems such as 'Untouched - Smack Me' and anything involving Mira Craig.

Ooh thank you, no worries take your time! biggrin.gif

I am currently up to LIV and it's a painful process, but SO worth it when you get to play them all back <3

Well if we're going that far back, we needn't stay in 2009.

Not overrated.

hi.gif

i've been getting into this Batidas gem from April 2013. gives off a really nostalgic feel for me, wish i'd properly loved this earlier!

and also this, from not quite as long ago:

pretty sure it made my points in its contest, but would likely be a lil higher in them now. dance-pop with a good dose of elegance & euphoria heart.gif

rly i'm sure at least a couple of 2014 entries will grow on me a bit more once i listen back on them fairly soon ~~

Talking of D'yermak'er, their entering of Verité reminded me how good Strange Enough was from a few contests back, can't believe I only gave it something like 1-3 points in the final, it's really quite wonderful.

'Strange Enough' was a very good song but it never fully clicked with me in the way 'Weekend' now has.

*cheeky bump*

Because this song has randomly come on shuffle for me a few times in the past few days and it's properly connected with me. Gorgeous entry by Klum Rep in LV ~

Snakehips - On & On

For me it's THIS. My 2nd-fave from Persephonia behind Habib Galbi, and I know I'm alone here but much better than Cry For Freedom:

^ Yay for someone other than me appreciating 'Glass Heart'!! I knew it wouldn't do brilliantly - hence why I only sent it when I had an AQ - but I still don't think it quite deserved to be last by a mile :')

Why didn't this smash? (I 'rediscover' this like every couple of months, one of my go to songs when I feel like listening to old BJSC tracks)

Shame the OTHER song Phoebe Ryan was part of isn't growing on you. dry.gif

Still can't believe you though it was the worst song in the semi final.

If it makes you feel any better, I still hate that Tritonal song.
