Can we sell 50,000 away tickets to every game at the Olympic Stadium next season? We might win the league that way.

Given the ridiculous season West Ham are having, I had a feeling we could do well today... but never expected that! Absolutely amazing, first win at Anfield since 1963 ohmy.gif JFK was still alive then, which puts it into context.

Chelsea 8 points off the pace already... normally Mourinho teams have fast starts to win the title. The odds on Man City must be so short right now.

Seemed to me to be a lot of sloppy/careless play today, especially with all the red/yellow cards handed out....wouldn't surprise me if Newcastle, are, as mentioned, fined as a club due to all the cards handed out their way today, with 1 red and 6 yellows....

You'll be hoping, ML Hammer95 that West Ham don't lose their next game after beating Liverpool.

Man City with prices as short as 1-2 with Stan James, Betfred and betway to win the league although it's still very early days yet.

I think it's safe to say after Saturday's events that Chelsea will not have the gold Barclays Premier League badge on their shirts next season.

Newcastle at home, they're winless so I imagine they'll beat us! Need to make 3-4 signings, the bench yesterday had 4 teenagers on.

Always dangerous to write off Chelsea and Mourinho but their car-crash start has been very amusing to see laugh.gif I think they'll be in the title race regardless.

Who would have thought that Chelsea would only be 2 points clear of the bottom of the table? laugh.gif

Poor result and performance from United today, I knew as soon as Gomis scored that we wouldn't get back into the game. Swansea fans will be getting excited about this result but we'll see who will have the last laugh at the end of the season.

Even though Man United will finish higher, I bet Swansea will have more fun and, in context, a better season.

Of course Swansea will have a more fun season by not qualifying for any European competitions or winning any trophies.

Romero needs to play much better than he did today. An abject performance in the second half from Man United.

United look so blunt in attack, and God help them with Schweinsteiger stumbling around listlessly in midfield. Just start Fellaini on the regular.

Quite surprised that even with our poor start and lack of potency in front of goal Arsenal have already caught up with Utd and Liverpool biggrin.gif pretty sure we'll finish ahead of both this season.

If Van Gaal thinks we can get through the whole season with Rooney, Fellaini and Wilson i would like some of what he has been smoking, its really strange that we haven't done more in this window after letting Falcao, Van Persie and Di Maria go. The problem is a Charlie Austin isn't going to have us competing with a team that have De Bruyne, Silva and Sterling feeding aguero with quality like Bony, Nasri and Navas in reserve. City have much better attacking options then us at present, we need to invest big in the attacking department on 2 or 3 quality players. its obviously not going to happen now in this window so we will have to soldier on with what we have, a top 4 finish is probably the best we can hope for now...

United look very neat and tidy in the middle third of the pitch but they have no pace or incision up front and may yet lose De Gea at the other end. No wonder they want Mané.

We just crumbled defensively in the second half. For the first time this season we didn't look reasonably solid at the back. Will be nice to have Rojo back.

I'm not too worried in the midfield but Herrara, Rooney and Hernandez are hardly a trophy winning attacking combo.

My point was, are United fans actually enjoying watching their team right now? Even when beating Tottenham and Villa it seemed to be hard work and plenty of fans were left unsatisfied. Just listen to phone-ins full of moaning United/Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea/Tottenham fans, even when they win right now laugh.gif

Compare that to teams like Swansea or Palace or Leicester. Of course they won't be qualifying for Europe or winning trophies (in all likelihood) but they must be buzzing for every game right now and so proud of their club!

It's all relative of course. However, the more success you have, the more you take for granted as United have found out post-Ferguson.
