Comfortable wins for Aberdeen and Celtic today. Where Celtic go top on goal difference and Aberdeen and Hearts still have a 100% record.

As expected nothing can stop Celtic at the moment in the league.

So far seven out of seven for Aberdeen which puts them five points clear from Celtic at the top.

Aberdeen's winning run has come to end. I really hope they can recover from it, as they also lost in the cup. Hopefully they can keep up this title challenge.

With Celtic having lost to Aberdeen then surely Aberdeen must have a slight chance of winning the title if they maintain their form and Celtic continue to slip up.

Surely this is the best shot at a non old firm Scottish league winner with rangers set to come back next season - I'm sure things will go back to normal in the future!

The Old Firm derby will be back in the Premier League as Rangers got promoted yesterday which is good news for Scottish football. I'm looking forward to seeing that rivalry again.

But surely Rangers have never been in the SPL before? There was a team of the same name a few years back but they folded to avoid paying tax. Maybe this new club from Glasgow can strike up a rivalry with Celtic in the same way though? Be a long long time before they catch up on titles though.
Either way, I don't think either club will be signing the type of name that made them dominate in the 90s and 00s. If anything, it might make it even more open next year if teams are taking points off each other. |

Rangers defeating Celtic in the scottish cup semi final
In others news my team, Dundee United are falling apart After finishing top 6 for almost 10 years in a row, we were knocked out the Scottish Cup by Hibs (Championship team) and we look set to be relegated, It's sad to see how much our team has fell apart, how management have quit, how directors have quit and despite making an income off over 10m in the last three years we're still in some financial debt. The chairman sold all of our best players and it's coming back to be costly now. |
