Hey Samalam <33 'Downtown' seems to be appealing to all different types of music tastes on here! Hands down the best thing they've released to date, I can't get enough of it. Haha a bit of a Lana invasion this week in the top 10 as Joe's rate spurred me on to catch up on her new stuff! Though I'd heard 'High By the Beach' already but the video sealed the deal. 'Downtown' is so damn funky I'm so pleased they are back and fingers crossed this keeps rising in the charts as it's too good to remain in the bottom area of the chart like I fear it will stay around  'Wildest Dreams', oh gosh what a beautiful video and song. This is the Taylor I prefer tbh. Her ballad type songs for me are hugely underrated impo. I also hope this can eventually get as high as top 30 deserves top 20 though. Such a beaut 'Do It Again' appears to be growing in most people's tastes although I'm not sure I think it's amazing or anything but pretty solid rnb pop track and now it's shot up to #23 on Spotify then maybe it'll have a chance at one week in the top ten. One more thing JOJO. YAAAAAAY! So happy she's back and I'm thoroughly pleased to see you've charted this one as it was the standout of all those new tracks by a long margin. Always had a soft spot for her. 'Too Little Too Late' was sensational Great chart gurl!

Wasn't expecting to see anymore of Macklemore following his previous album with Ryan Lewis; certainly not for it to be any good, but he's completely proven me wrong with 'Downtown'. SUCH a mighty bop! Rather 'Thrift Shop'-esque lyrics but it has the grandest chorus I've heard in a long while! Can't work out who sings the chorus but it never fails to make me wanna sing along. Highly amusing video too; particularly love the variation of MJ dancing at the 3:30 mark. 'High By the Beach' is proving to be an improvement on her previous lead 'West Coast' for me - I felt with that, I only tried to get into because I loved her Born to Die album so much. Not heard anything else from her new album yet but I'm hoping it's not a disappointment like her last album which only had 3 particularly good songs for me. |

It was QUITE the moment when I heard it on radio 1 yesterday *.* I think it should be safe to rise, tuned into the chart show update and earlier and hopefully it can grab a play on Friday! Should be a multiple-week number 1 of course, though. 'Wildest Dreams' is indeed very beautiful (a very Lana-esque one from her), and her music videos always tend to deliver these days! Indeed it should be higher as well, her darn streaming stance. Indeed 'Do It Again' does appear to be quite the grower for many it seems! Ooh it would be amazing for it go top 10 officially, especially as it's been there on iTunes quite a lot! I'm so glad JoJo is back as well, 'Leave (Get Out)' was a huge fave back in the day, and of course as you mention 'Too Little Too Late'. 'High By The Beach' is great though and gives me hope for 'Honeymoon' - I highly recommend checking out 'Music To Watch Boys To' as well! Hopefully in a good routine again for now x *Haha you avoid the haters of this song and then suddenly they all come out into my thread I can maybe understand the annoyance of the polarising first couple of shouty lines of the chorus but the rest is essential *.**It was the same for me, a grower upon the video release!
