In the closest round yet (and a very corrupt one - let's keep it clean this round please) 'Dope' the slowest, most stripped back song on the album dries out. Gaga performed the song at the iTunes festival under the name of "I Wanna Be with You" and it stunned the audience. In studio form, the song is similar but packs a greater punch and a more profound lyrical message. After undergoing surgery for her hip during the Born This Way Ball Gaga admitted to having a serious marijuana addiction in order to bear the pain of the surgery. This song was borne out of that madness and sadness and the result is a powerful, moving ballad that shines amongst the vocal intensity of the rest of the album. 'MANiCURE' was SO close to leaving!
 It seriously has to go now, really won't be happy if 'Artpop' goes before it. 'Artpop' is easily one of my faves but I'd be able to forgive any other song on that list booting it out.

 Adore Dope and in my top 5 on the album, so beautiful so shame to see that out  MANiCURE is also in my top 5 of artpop so hopefully that doesn't go next!

I've always found the album version of it to be a HUGE disappointment compared to the iTunes fest performance. It's like a huge chunk of life got wiped from it, and it sounds tinny.

MANiCURE which is absolutely dire. So disappointed at both Swine and Dope leaving which are definite highlights for me.
