Yep, I haven't heard the full album yet but I much prefer 'Something In The Way You Move' to the singles and instant grats. A real shame that 'Delirium' is shaping up to be quite a regression from 'Halcyon' but I'd hope there'll be a few more gems to take from it at least, given the length of the tracklist! Haha yeah 'Fuel To The Fire' is my favourite of your entries, and possibly my favourite BJSC entry of the year in fact! Looove the vocals and it just doesn't seem to get old the more I hammer it. I agree about 'Hello' - it took its time to connect (for an Adele track). I'm still not completely sold though and don't imagine I'll ever value it as highly as some of her past hits. Ehhhhh I don't know, sorry. Ask Ethan or Dan! (Wharra choon tho ) Thanks for commenting! 01 | ** | Ellie Goulding | Something In The Way You Move 02 | 01 | Naughty Boy ft. She is my surprise go to girl for the past few years, this album and especially the previous one are sensational Hiiiii Ooh, by all means check out 'Hello' by the singer; Adele . So glad I could return your Kacy recommendation with one of my own. 'Kamikaze' just gets it all so right . Been growing on me too~ Yeahhhhh I really don't like to admit it, especially as I haven't yet heard 'Delirium' in full, but it's all quite a marked step-down in quality (and that's allowing for the fact 'Halcyon' is one of my favourite ever albums/set an extremely high standard). 'On My Mind' is enjoyable enough in the moment (in studio form only of course!) but is so far from Ellie at her best. Haha, thanks again for that - I still play the EP regularly . And indeed, I'd imagine Kacy's appeal would translate incredibly well to a full-length album. Yep, I think 'Player' does its job very well in commercialising Tinashe while remaining interesting. Also, it's just a huge jam really. 'Kiss Me' is pretty good but that's about it for me. I don't really feel Olly's produced anything essential thus far, but he's got a lot of solid tracks and I agree 'Dear Darlin'' is the big standout. <3 Ah, I still haven't checked out V V's last album properly () even though I adore 'The Apple' and remember liking some others (not to mention I've seen you give it high praise a few times)! Must get around to that and the new one. Thanks Bal! Please do give 'Samson & Delilah' a chance if you can and if you do let me know what you think! P.S. because she's talk of the minute~ thoughts on 'Sax' (& her performance if you saw it)?

And I'm afraid I don't have any particularly strong thoughts on 'Sax', other than that it's the absolutely perfect debut single for her and is really impressive in that sense that she/her team got her first artistic statement so spot on. I do like it as a stand-alone song too but then I'm not overly keen on big instrumental choruses so I think its appeal is limited for me. Her performance was awesome though! She's a complete professional - it's like she's been a star for years. |

Hey Noah!
01 | ** | Ellie Goulding | Something In The Way You Move Definitely one of the best songs on the album, although have you noticed that the chorus melody is virtually identical to 'Love Me Like You Do'? 02 | 01 | Naughty Boy ft. Beyoncé & Arrow Benjamin | Runnin' (Lose It All) [01-02] 05 | 12 | Shawn Mendes | Stitches [39-12-05] Really should have got a UK push. 06 | 29 | Little Mix | Love Me Like You [29-06] Still loving this 07 | 05 | Years & Years | Eyes Shut [01-05-05-07] 09 | ** | Adele | Hello Simply stunning. What a comeback 10 | ** | MØ | Kamikaze This is pretty good, although the slightly out of tune instrumental bit annoys me a little! 12 | ** | Duke Dumont | Ocean Drive Bit late to the party with this aren't you? Not that I'm complaining, it has easily become my favourite by him 13 | ** | KDA ft. Tinie Tempah & Katy B | Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) Not the worst dance song of the year but far from the best. 14 | 33 | Taylor Swift | Wildest Dreams [33-14] 15 | 10 | Justin Bieber | What Do You Mean? [10-15] Where's 'Sorry' though? 16 | 03 | Calvin Harris ft. Disciples | How Deep Is Your Love [06-03-16] 19 | 15 | Selena Gomez ft. A$AP Rocky | Good For You [08-05-09-15-19] 20 | 25 | Ellie Goulding | On My Mind [25-20] 23 | 20 | Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee & Grandmaster Caz | Downtown [20-23] 25 | 04 | CHVRCHES | Leave A Trace [10-02-04-25] 27 | 11 | Kwabs | Love + War [11-27] 29 | 13 | Years & Years | Shine [02-02-08-08-13-29] 30 | 22 | Major Lazer & DJ Snake ft. MØ | Lean On [05-06-06-12-15-22-30] 31 | 17 | CHVRCHES | Never Ending Circles [13-17-31] 32 | 36 | Sia | Alive [36-32] 33 | 06 | Jess Glynne | Don't Be So Hard On Yourself [01-06-33] 34 | ** | Foxes | Better Love This really didn't deserve to flop 35 | ** | MNEK & Zara Larsson | Never Forget You I just can't get into this, even though everyone seems to be loving it. 36 | ** | One Direction | Perfect Not one of their best singles tbh, thankfully the album is sounding good from what we've heard so far though. 41 | 46 | Florence + The Machine | Queen Of Peace [45-46-41] 42 | ** | Nick Jonas | Levels Decent song, should have gone Top 40. 44 | ** | Olly Murs | Kiss Me Absolutely loving this atm, could well end up becoming my favourite ever Olly single! Just love the 80s vibe to it! Really hoping he gets to perform it on the X Factor and somehow gets it Top 10, or is that wishful thinking? 45 | 47 | One Direction | Drag Me Down [27-47-45] So much better than Perfect! 46 | 38 | Skrillex & Diplo ft. Justin Bieber | Where Are Ü Now [48-37-17-38-46] 48 | ** | Rudimental ft. Ed Sheeran | Lay It All On Me Very watered down for them but pretty catchy, I'm not surprised it's their biggest hit of the era so far. Fantastic chart this month as usual |

Fantastic chart this month as usual Hi Mango! I hadn't noticed that similarity before but I think I get what you mean . And yep, I think 'Something...' would be the best choice for next single. Yeah, I really thought 'Stitches' would get a bigger push and make the top 40 at least as it's extremely radio-friendly. :/ Haha, I wasn't observant enough to notice the irksome instrumental in 'Kamikaze' either! Shall listen out next time~ Indeed I was late to 'Ocean Drive' - just clicked with me after hearing it on the radio a bit after it was released. Easily my favourite of Duke's too. I agree re: 'Turn The Music Louder'. Always great to hear Katy's wondrous vocals grace a track though. 'Sorry' didn't make the cut last month but it's grown a bit since so could be in with a chance for the November chart. I'm not surprised that 'Better Love' did precisely nothing as it's all a bit too low-key and subtle to catch on with the general public. Still a shame though. I love how clear Dan's vocals are in the chorus. <3 Interesting that you can't get into 'Never Forget You' as it strikes me as the type of track that clicks instantly due to its catchy chorus but wears off after several more listens. That's certainly been the case for me anyway. I think 'Perfect' is already quite a standout in their singles discography. I love how the song is such a blatant response to 'Style'/Taylor in subject matter and production, especially the lyrics of the middle 8. Been impressed with 1D so far this era but I'm yet to hear the album in full. I wouldn't mind seeing 'Kiss Me' top 10 or thereabouts post-X Factor performance. It's amongst Olly's better singles and he certainly needs a bit of a boost in some capacity after last weekend! Thanks for all the comments as ever, Mango!
