 Leaving us in this round... 15 My All (10 votes, 23.81% | TIEBREAK: 19 votes, 65.52%) I actually adore 'My All', and in an ideal world the tiebreaker wouldn't have been between that & '#Beautiful'... but that's the way the cookie crumbles, and it ends in 15th place. If it's wrong to love you... then my heart just won't let me be right.  Such a beautifully written song.  The 'Butterfly' era was a tricky one for Mariah, who was in conflict with Columbia over single choices (her label was not happy with the album's Hip-Hop direction). 'Butterfly', 'The Roof (Back In Time)' and 'Breakdown' were all given limited releases and little support, but evidently the label was very happy to give 'My All' a proper push - which was the 5th single overall, but only the second to be given a commercial release in the US. It served as the final single from the album. 'My All' was well received by critics, and was a particularly big hit in the US & throughout Europe. The fact that it will probably be My All, #Beautiful and Emotions going back to back hurts so much. They are 3 of my top 5 Mariah favs along with Fantasy and Always Be My Baby
 Never got the fuss with Honey or Heartbreaker at all. They need to go soon! |
