Hey everyone, as Star Wars: The Force Awakens becomes practically the biggest movie of all time, we thought we would do quite a few Star Wars related things on this forum! The first of them is your favourite Star Wars characters.
Please Private Message me a list of your top 20 favourite characters and a top 50 countdown will be done in a few weeks  Also feel free to submit commentary to be included in the countdown  Deadline will be in a couple of weeks Also please use this thread for discussion on what Star Wars characters you love and what ones you hate! I am going to be including so many random Jedi.
Can we include anyone no matter how big their role in the films? Do (now non-canon) Expanded Universe characters count? Or doesn't it really matter as they'll likely just end up below the top 50? I'd say for ones which have like a key lead character under the group, nominate them but for something like Stormtroopers where there isn't any specific ones then that can be a group! I will attempt to do this tomorrow although the thought of it seems very overwhelming. I'd say I have firm favourites in Vader and C3PO and then Yoda/Luke but after that I'm really not sure where to go! Also unsure how to rank the newbies from VII some of whom were utterly fantastic alongside the classics but I'll have a think. Also also will Anakin and Vader be counted separately?
 Please say yes, given they are entirely disparate entities and are world's apart in their characterisations..

I found her interesting and I loved the flashback/vision scenes & fallout with her and Rey. I'll probably rank the likes of Rey and Finn and especially Kylo Ren quite highly because even though they're just getting started, there is a lot of scope for them and they were fantastic throughout VII (as well as BB-8). They got the casting spot on in the new one in my opinion! |
