Most of the Buzzjack audience may vaguely know her as an actress on Penny Dreadful, Doctor Who, and Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, but Billie Piper had a blooming pop career from 1998-2000, probably the closest British equivalent to Britney Spears at the time. Which is your favourite Billie Piper single?
Some of her biggest hits: "Because We Want To" - UK #1, 1998: "Honey To The Bee" - UK #3, 1999: "Day And Night" - UK #1, 2000: Personally, her best single is "Day & Night" with "Walk Of Life" and "She Wants You" close behind. Billie.

This is like asking me to choose a favourite child! I was a huge fan of Billie's when she was a popstar. I remember buying both 'Girlfriend' and 'Honey to the Bee' when they were out - best singles she did for me on that first album.
For sheer bombastic energy mind, her overall finest hour by a long way was 'Day & Night'. It's the chorus and the build up to it which is really something special. And the video for it was great as well. One of the best number ones of the early 2000s for me! |

I always forget how amazing Billie was (and that she has 3 UK #1's, take that Melanie C!) I have She Wants You on CD Single somewhere. My mum wouldn't let me buy Honey To The B for some reason.
