Rihanna at #24 today
fans have been snapping up Rihanna's new single Work since its surprise release yesterday (January 27), and the track has already entered the UK Top 40, OfficialCharts.com can confirm. Work, which features Drake, lands at Number 24 in today's early sales flash. Sales and streams are counted each day up to midnight, meaning its current position is the result of being available for less than 12 hours after its 1pm release yesterday. The track's final position on this week's Official Singles Chart will be revealed tomorrow (January 29) between 4pm and 5.45pm. Work is the lead single from Rihanna's new album ANTi, which was released late last night for free via music service TIDAL. A deluxe version of the record with three bonus tracks will follow on January 29. Click here to download ANTi. It has not yet been announced when ANTi will be available to download and stream on other services, including iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify. It is also just a little ironic that they also went 10+ years without a studio album and then returned in 2013 and then again in 2016 (same as one of their Prime influences David Bowie). |
