I have decided to start a Netflix movie recommendations thread where I will recommend up to 5 movies that have been added to Netflix which I have seen or look good! Also feel free to recommend any movies you've seen on Netflix and loved!

I'm going to do mine daily based on movies added to Netflix each day and if there isn't any new movies that I think are good/look good, I'll recommend another movie that is on Netflix that I have watched and loved!

DAY 1: FEBRUARY 1: MY PICKS
- Kill Bill: Vol 2 While it doesn't live up to the gigantic heights of the 1st movie, this is still a fun action movie with a killer performance from Uma Thurman
- Legally Blonde A classic comedy which is one of my favourites of all time and never fails to make me laugh! Reese Witherspoon is fantastic and the script is hilarious, if you want a laugh I'd highly suggest to watch this movie
- Liar Liar Another classic comedy that never fails to make me laugh and features an excellent performance from Jim Carrey
- Lord Of The Flies The movie adaptation based on the classic book. Will definitely check this out as loved the book and just finished reading it for GCSE's
- The Look Of Silence One of this years Oscar Nominated Documentary movies which is meant to be fantastic and fascinating so I am looking forward to seeing this!

The Look of Silence is obviously not an easy watch, but it's such an incredible documentary. The director's previous film The Act of Killing is basically a partner film and is also gripping to experience.

I enjoyed Amy but it's ridiculous to me that it's going to win Best Doc at the Oscars over TLOS. They just don't even compare in terms of bravery, skill and importance.

Legally Blonde is obviously amazing too, such sharp comic timing from Reese. Such a golden period for her with that coming after Election and Pleasantville.

DAY 2: FEBRUARY 2ND: MY PICK
No new movies that interest me/have seen today so will recommend a movie that I have already watched on Netflix that I think is worth recommending.

CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA I went into this with not the highest expectations but this is an absolutely fantastic and intriguing movie with some killer performances. The script is great and it flows really well with the plot and the movie is always interesting. Juliette Binoche is fantastic in the lead role and will keep you intrigued the entire time and Chloe Grace-Moretz was also fantastic as usual. However the star of the show was Kristen Stewart who gave a knockout supporting role and is great, I really wish she was recognised for this fantastic performance at the Oscars! I'd highly recommend this because it is a compelling drama.

I personally found the Lord of the Flies film hideously boring sad.gif Although I didn't really enjoy the book itself either, so it'll be interesting to hear your thoughts on it!

DAY 1: FEBRUARY 3RD: MY PICK
No new movies added that interest me/have seen today so will recommend a movie that I have already watched on Netflix that I think is worth recommending.

CLUELESS One of my favourites movies, let alone probably my favourite comedy of all time, is on Netflix so I would 100% check this out if you have never seen. Clueless follows popular high school girl Cher (portrayed fabulously by Alicia Silverstone) and how her school year changes and progress with the arrival of Tai- played fantastically by Brittany Murphy. Stacey Dash is also incredible as Dion and this also stars a young Paul Rudd as Josh! The movie is so funny and the jokes don't stop the entire movie, while the cast are on top form with the fantastic script and the movie has beautiful heartwarming moments to go with all the humour which makes it an all time classic! Would definitely check this out if you ever need to feel good heart.gif

DAY 4: FEBRUARY 4TH: MY PICK
No new movies added today that interest me/have seen (AGAIN) so will recommend a movie that I have already watched on Netflix that I think is worth recommending.

THE HELP Another one of my favourite motion pictures of this decade and a multiple Oscar nominated film- including a nomination in Best Picture- is my film of the day today in the form of the incredible 'The Help'! The movie received great reviews on release, but even more surprisingly, became a massive box office behemoth by grossing over $170M in America to be one of the highest grossing movies in America of 2011! This is a really inspirational movie with a fantastic script (based off the incredible book) and the movie is heightened way further by the terrific performances on the cast. Viola Davis deserved to win Best Actress for her heartbreaking portrayal, Emma Stone was terrific as usual, and Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer (who won an Oscar for her supporting role) were incredible in their roles also. My favourite part of the movie was the Pie part and I highly suggest to check out this inspirational and beautiful movie!

I think Jessica Chastain was the best part of the whole movie, she deserved the Oscar more than Octavia IMO, but there were strong performances throughout, such
a strong movie and worth a watch for sure.

I'd kind of agree with that, I actually don't even know which one I prefer but would probably choose Jessica just!

DAY 5: FEBRUARY 5TH: MY PICK

HOME ON THE RANGE One of the most underrated Disney animations has been re-added today to the Netflix in the form of fun 2004 animation Home On The Range which received poor reviews and was a box office bomb. However I found the movie fun and if you want to watch a short movie, I'd recommend this as it is simple and a good time, very underrated and great movie!

Ah, I love The Help, was a bit worried about its length but it went really quick and had so many good performances, my favourite moment was the pie too and good on her but I think my favourite performances were from Viola Davis and Jessica Chastain wub.gif

I think the scene where Jessica's character has the miscarriage and you see her bury her baby with all the other ones in the garden shows just how good the two were, such a
powerful and emotional scene and a real change in Jess' character.

DAY 6: FEBRUARY 6TH: MY PICK

LILA AND EVE The only reason I didn't post yesterday was because I was hoping to get round to watching it but I don't think I will this weekend, anyway I'll recommend it as it looks really good and has the fantastic Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez in it!

DAY 7: FEBRUARY 7TH: MY PICK

KICK ASS 2 Even though the first one is better, the 2nd one is still a whole lot of fun and the cast are fantastic again. I think this is going off Netflix soon so I'd recommend to catch this quickly!

DAY 9: FEBRUARY 9TH: MY PICK

ZOOLANDER With the sequel coming out in a couple of days, now is the perfect time to catch the movie which I only found out was on Netflix a couple of days ago due to it appearing at the top of my screen on like that 3 pics recommend thing! I really like the movie and will re-watch it before I see the 2nd one!

Funny you mentioned Zoolander now, just re-watched in anticipation for the second one. A good few laughs still, Will Ferrell is my fave in it <3
