A new drama based on the novel, coming to BBC One in a couple of weeks. It looks really good and has a pretty solid cast too: Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman are the leads. The trailer makes it look almost movie like.

I wish they'd spend less on trailers and more on programmes.

It's a testament to Olivia Colman's standing that they changed the script to accommodate the fact that she was pregnant when this was filmed.

I'm currently watching (on a delay) but I'm not sure if this is the right thing for me as I'm finding it quite dull so I'm not really paying much attention.

It wasn't what I was expecting and I could feel myself turning off, but it did get more enjoyable as the episode went on. It would probably help if I knew what the hell was going on. I'll give another try next week. It's been hugely hyped by the BBC so it will be pretty gutting for them if this doesn't get killer ratings.

I must say I love everything to do with the production in regards to camera shots and directing etc. Very film-like and Bond-esque.

For how much they were hyping it up, it wasn't that great. It was a decent watch though and it will be interesting to see where the story goes from here.

I've enjoyed the past two episodes a lot more than the first, I'm far more intrigued about what is going on now Tom's character is on his 'mission'. Very glad I stuck with it!

Well after a slow start I really began to enjoy it, they changed the story from the John Le Carre novel so I wasn't really sure how it was going to end.

Olivia Colman brilliant, as ever and Richard Roper played by Hugh Laurie almost like a caricature of Tony Blair! Loved it.

Great final episode! Reading the synopsis of the novel, I'm glad they deviated because the TV show ending is much more satisfying.

Very glad I stuck with this in the end after I found the first episode dull. It really picked up once the two leads were together and it just built from there! A fantastic finale had me gripped. Loved how Hugh Laurie's character was confident all the way up until the end.

It was really beautifully made, definitely film quality and all the actors were perfect. Can Olivia Colman just be in everything? kink.gif She played a kickass pregnant woman.

I've watched all six episodes over the last couple weeks, and enjoyed it. Great performances all round, as would be expected from such a high-quality cast.
