Presumably “Sugar” is the biggest ever selling #7 hit?
I can only think of LeAnn Rimes “How Do I Live” that comes close.. |

Interesting facts about Sugar, didn't know it was originally Mike Posner's track!
I was surprised at first when Can't Hold Us overtook Thrift Shop's sales, but it is a brilliant song and more likely to get continual airplay. I still hear it very often. |

86. RUDE MAGIC 924,000
Many predicted when this song arrived in the top 40 at No 2 behind Cheryl Cole that it would hang around a lot longer than “Crazy Stupid Love” and so it proved when it deposed the track a week later. |

85. WHERE ARE U NOW SKRILLEX & DIPLO FT JUSTIN BIEBER 925,600
The song which is popularly thought to have heralded the reinvention of Bieber into the chart dominator that he’s turned into. Composed as a piano ballad called “The Most” he sent it to production team Jack U (Skrillex & Diplo) who turned into the version we all know. Looks like that turned into one of his wisest moves career wise. |

84. LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN BRUNO MARS 928,000
After the success of his debut era Mars got Mark Ronson to produce the first single from his second album “Unorthodox Jukebox” and made it sound authentically like a lost Police single. It spent three weeks at No 2 here behind different chart topper each week, One Direction, Olly Murs and Gabrielle Aplin, but he ended up outselling them all. |

83. HO HEY THE LUMINEERS 929,000
Another song that reaps the benefits of the long running nature of chart hits these days racking up 50 weeks of top 75 activity with only one of those weeks in the top 10. It was probably helped by an ad for E.On which ran back in 12/13 reminding us daily of the song. |

82. I'M YOURS JASON MRAZ 932,000
So onto the biggest selling non top 10 hit of all time (for a time anyway- it’s now No 3 on that list), with 65 weeks inside the top 75 it isn’t particularly surprising that it has racked up these sales and setting new records for longevity on both sides of the Atlantic (again at the time). He almost turned the trick again with “I Won’t Give Up” which similarly peaked at No 11 and sold over 600,000 copies. |

81. PASS OUT TINIE TEMPAH 941,000
The song that launched Tinie, picking up a BRITS award for best single and also introduced Labrinth to us who produced, co-wrote, and is here on an uncredited vocal in the chorus. Some tongue in Cheek vocals and critical acclaim saw the track effortlessly top the charts. |

Surprised Pass Out is that low if anything!
Some great songs so far. Can't Hold Us and Love Me Again hold particularly fond memories and Locked Out Of Heaven, Want To Want Me and Where Are U Now are great too. |

Pass Out and In For The Kill
I'm Yours is the lesser of the two evils by Jason Mraz, at least that can sometimes be bearable unlike the other thing he did. |

'Pass Out' is an absolute tune! amazing how it sold so much really but it really was a forward-thinking and iconic song.
'Ho Hey' though very much responsible for murdering the charts back in 2012-13 :/ |
