not getting emails from the board.

i'm subscribed to each topic as i reply (so i should be getting an email when someone posts), and i'm also subscribed to email notifications from the lounge.

i'm thinking about adding more subscriptions.. first though i need to know why i can't get emails

I seem to get most email notifications, but not some as well! I just put up with it tongue.gif

I'd take a shot and say it's because other threads are being made at exactly the same time or something laugh.gif there just doesn't seem to be any connection with the threads coming up and threads not...

It's been mentioned for at least a couple of years but last August he's mentioned it's on it's final stages.

just as long as it takes 7 weeks or more to complete.

as long as i get my ant and dec posts up on saturday, that's all i'm worried about.

i'm excited though- i wonder what the new site will be like

Just realised today that it's possible, when moderators make a thread they sometimes make it and then hide it publically so that only the mods of that forum can see it. I noticed this last night with the iTunes thread

Not necessarily. We don't know how long the "final stages" are going to take tongue.gif the new site has been brought up for years now.

their's not much wrong with this one, but change is good! (and i'm looking forward to seeing if they keep the same forum layout, or change it around a little)

Phil, do you have any idea as to what changes are going to be implemented into the new site? Features, appearance etc.?

as a general reply the new site has been built from scratch, from the ground up. Could have been done faster but totally underestimated the work that would be required and life got in the way!!

My idea with the new site is it will look similar to what we have now but will have a WYSIWYG editor. The editor is massively improved, there will also be some other nice to haves. More closer to the time biggrin.gif
