 Prior to 2008 Kings Of Leon had received critical appreciation but had met only with middling single success and unspectacular album sales. Of course “Only By The Night” changed that and made them, briefly, one of the biggest names in the charts, this track spent over 70 weeks in the top 75 peaking at No 2 behind Leona Lewis’ “Run” which it eventually outsold (it rests at No 96 here). |
