Critical Reception
The song received mostly positive reviews from music critics. Bradley Stern of music website MuuMuse recognised "Not Giving Up" as the best song off the album, commenting “Not Giving Up is amazing for a variety of reasons: For one thing, it’s about not giving up on love. Persistence is inspiring! But then, the actual song’s fantastic too. Actually, it’s stupid good." Jon O'Brien for Yahoo! called the song "one of the strongest singles of their up-and-down career" describing it as "contemporary dancefloor-friendly fare with a trance-pop sugar rush." |

Daybreak, Saturday Night Take Away and Sunday Brunch had been performances this might have lifted the song into the Top 15, as that would have been 5 performances in 6 days. Also weren't they axed from Saturday Night Takeaway at the last minuet? Or was that another time?
Not Giving Up still gets played loads in Westfield Stratford, shame it didn't have the impact that it should have. |

Yeah, I really wish they managed a 'Daybreak' performance and an acoustic Sunday Brunch performance, I remember being told that Capital would have put it on their main playlist had it went top 10 on iTunes. They've always had very weird last minute cancelltions with ITV. They were due to be on X Factor (My Heart Takes Over) and were removed for pre-recorded Bieber and they decided against appearing on Xtra Factor. They were also rumoured to perform on BGT before it being confirmed they were on BGT Extra but that was cancelled last minute. Saturday Night Takeaway was even included in their promo on their website and boom cancelled again. |

I thought it was Rihanna that could appear that bumped The Sats off of X Factor, as it was supposed to be them and Rebecca Ferguson performing, they even appear with Little Mix in their behind the scenes video. But they were bumped to Xtra Factor (I believe it was a combo of Rihanna and no Frankie) and they were like yeah we're not doing that. (Which I think was good for them to stand up for themselves like that.) |

Not Giving Up being their first ever single to not receive any mainstream radio support breaks my heart.
The video was so good too, if they'd taken a bit more time to perfect the choreo, it would have been so good. |

Masterpiece. Shame it was screwed over by it's album
Genuinely think this could have been a Sats classic for people beyond their core fanbase had it been given the chance |

Mollie's verse in this slays their entire discography. |

^ Agreed
This was played on radio stations and TV stations in Asia and South America. Makes me sad for the missed worldwide potential. |

Can't get over how good they all look on the photo-shopped artwork either!
