I literally just squealed when I saw the title! Likelihood is that it will just be a speech (it's not like her to perform outside of an album era, not in recent years anyway) but, like you say, even that would be great if it's anything like the MJ VMAs one. Just please don't let it be a 'Love Song' performance if she is performing.

  Great outfit! Apparently social media response was pretty brutal though. I agree the vocals weren't great but the song was far too big for her. |

 I can't decide if i like the outfit or not, but it's a big step up from the met gala.

I don't think she was as awful as some people are making out, but it was certainly a pretty bad performance. As others said, she picked a song that was totally out of
her vocal range. |

It would probably have been a whole lot better if she didn't try to sing it like Prince (and Sinead) did and put her own spin on it that makes her own ballads so special.

She should have done it with just a guitar, the arrangement was odd
She sounded so country singing this I understand why she chose this song but Sinead made it more famous than prince , many people think she was singing the Sinead version.... I think people wanted a spectacle |

To be honest, I thought it was fine. She looked a bit like someone had cum glitter all over her and her vocals weren't AMAZING, but it was a nice tribute to Prince. The reaction on social media in general is pretty much typical of whatever she does these days. I know I was very harsh on the MET Gala outfit, but at this stage she's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't really.
