Which one do you think would do it, and replace David Cameron.

Andrea Leadsom out first, then Crabbe, then Fox, with May and Gove going to the membership. May becomes PM in September.

I was about to create this poll myself, so thanks for that!

Anyway, I think it'll be Fox out first (he had his chance in 2005 and blew it), then Leadsom, then Crabb (which sets him up well for the next time), then Theresa May winning the run-off against Gove approximately 60-40.

I agree with this prediction. I would prefer the sneaky ones not to win though, and a comprehensive school boy get to be PM. Whatever his views, at least he would have experience of ordinary people.

Gove is a liar. Lied about the EU, lied about backing Johnson, lied about the consequences of Leave, and is in the pockets of The Daily Mail and The Sun billionaire owners. For that reason, the little weasel should not be let anywhere near power. Much as I would love to see him fail miserably as PM.

I think Fox, then Crabb, then Leadsom (who has a bizarrely big following among MPs), then Gove narrowly beating Theresa May in the members' vote after going full red meat.

Hope to dear Lord is not Gove. He'd be the weakest PM we've had in a long time.

Teresa May hopefully.

Hoping and praying for Theresa May but I have that horrible niggling feeling of pessimism that makes me think it will be Gove sad.gif

He managed to get through what he wanted against the teachers' unions more than most of his predecessors did. Don't underestimate him.

I always thought that Gove looked a lot like this 80s kids character -

Gone with Theresa May, I think Gove may have lost some support by stabbing Boris in the back.

I'm absolutely PRAYING for Theresa May. She's the only one who I trust with the country out of those right now. I liked Andrea Leadsom in the debates but I need to see more of her before I can truly judge her.

I think Anyone But Boris needs to rename themselves to Anyone But Gove.

What's democracy - 0.003% of the electorate will decide the next PM!

I think it'll be Theresa May. Would very much loathe Gove as PM.

That's kind of the point of a Prime Minister - he/she is chosen by the majority of democratically elected ministers, first among equals and all that.

I think Fox, Crabb, Leadsom, May, Gove in terms of how the MP's will vote. Though it could go either way at the top. Basically I'm expecting Gove to weasel his way to being PM somehow, which is potentially even more horrific than how the week started with the near inevitability of PM Boris.

It's like voting to be pummelled to death by a baseball bat but getting to choose what colour it is.

Speculation on another forum that Gove may not even be in the last two. At lot of Boris's 100 odd backers think he's stabbed him in the back according to some paapers today.
