Cheap Hoe Entries #6 and 7
Phantogram - You Don't Get Me High Anymore 28 Charted in 2015 at #38 on the US album charts as part of the supergroup Big Grams - 7 Previously sent in BJSC 61 [DNQ'ed] and BJSC 88 [13th] - 7 + 7 Featured on Pitchfork - 7 No need to research this more but there will be more points... Ólafur Arnalds feat. Arnór Dan - Say My Name 24+ Featured on several minor blogs Ólafur Arnalds finished 7th in BJSC 22 and 4th in BJSC 54 12 Arnór Dan also finished 4th in BJSC 54 12 Both of them charted at #54 in France outside of the 24 month window This is a substantially differently produced cover of Destiny Child's 'Say My Name', a worldwide hit in 2000 and a song is originally by an artist with a significant Buzzjack following, potential for an extra 12 |

Not that I disagree with Bob being vetoed but isnt 7 points for a top 60 hit a tad ridiculoud?

Not that I disagree with Bob being vetoed but isnt 7 points for a top 60 hit a tad ridiculoud? I've discussed separate with Ryan for ages about some of the point allocations in the veto framework. I really hope there is an update coming because some of them are ridiculous you say and then some things aren't even included which should be. But I won't go on about it in here because Ryan already wants to murder me for how anal I have been about it 🌞 |

Not that I disagree with Bob being vetoed but isnt 7 points for a top 60 hit a tad ridiculoud? Well it was top 25 in Belgium, but I think it was more the Stevie Wonder thing (and Bob's name power). Even without those 7 points, you only need one 12 point offence to be vetoable (or 14 from smaller offences), so a 12-pointer is just as easily dismissed as the others if the mods aren't keen on it. |
