It is! It's been confirmed the returning house robots are Dead Metal, Matilda, Shunt & Sir Killalot.

If you're in the mood for a sneak preview, the new website has recently (I assume) been launched including participant spoilers if you're desperate for them.

I like that they've got a mix of the old and the new ones including Razer, the best one EVAH *.*

Wow there's a surprisingly high number of returning robots then! Can't wait for this to start just a shame there's so few shows but hopefully it'll be the catalyst to perhaps continue with future series?

I'm praying that Hypno-disc will be back as that was also my favourite. I'm really looking forward to the return of Robot Wars, key part of my childhood wub.gif

Hypno-Disc isn't taking part as the team didn't have enough time to get ready for the new series, although they have expressed an interest in returning if a 2nd series of the reboot is made.

Can't wait for this to start back next week.

I'd have to say Hypno-Disc too overall but towards the later series I really LOVED Gravity - that flipper was unreal.

That would be Diotoir! Loved the hilarity of it catching fire practically every single fight & they made sure Sgt. Bash was always a house robot when it battled laugh.gif

It did beat future champions Tornado in one series though! ohmy.gif

I am so pumped for this.

I am going to do a little preview of the robots in each heat leading up to each heat. Lots of new comers to the TV series although veterans of the live circuit. A lot of the veterans didn't have battle ready robots as there was a short time frame between the series being announced and filming starting. If there is a series 2 expect more veterans to show up.

A new format this year too for after the first round, means we will see lots of battles in each heat.

Sir Chromalot, was much better is Series 6, it was unfortunate to meet S3 in the second round really.
