Hi there JeffRayGun I remember you from the New Members thread so I'm glad to see that you have stuck around!
Anyway, that is an absolutely stunning #1! I am a huge Coldplay fan and was impressed on the whole with all of the Mylo Xyloto singles. BØRNS is also a lovely debut in your top 10! 'The Sound' is also pretty cool in there, The 1975 have yet to top 'Chocolate' and 'Girls' for me but their new stuff is still pretty good. Loving Christine and The Queens right now so I'm pleased to see them here for you! Must check out the new version of Carly Rae's Emotion so I can hear 'Store'! Great chart *.* |

@mdh: Youtubers can always use more representation! Of course, this song (Pink Life) is really atypical for my charts, which means the fact that it's doing as well as it is right now is even more surprising.
@Jade: Thanks! I've really enjoyed my stay around here so far! And Store is really only there thanks to the Popheads Subreddit's Plug.DJ, which played the song like 3 times yesterday xD But it might have a chance to become a hit on the charts! I really need to go through Emotion and Side B all the way again and see if any new songs stand out to me... xP @HarryEzra: It's not my favourite of the 3 Carly songs that charted so far but it's still pretty catchy! This chart was made rather early in the day so the entries haven't had much chance to move. August 31st 2016 Position (Last Frame) Artist - Title (Progression) (# of frames on chart) 01 (1) Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall (1 - 1 - 1) (3) 02 (4) Pink Guy - Pink Life (4 - 2) (2) 03 (3) Kevin Morby - Parade (13 - 6 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 3) (10) 04 (2) BØRNS - Electric Love (3 - 2 - 4) (3) 05 (5) The Chainsmokers & Tritonal ft. "Hawaiienne" jumps into the Top 10 13-10, "Store" moves up 12-11, while "Limpido" bumps up 19-16, "Hurtige Haender" moves 20-17, and "Quand c'est" holds at #18. The Naked and Famous debut a new song, "Higher", at #14. This is their first hit since last February when "No Way" made it to #13. This is their 7th hit on the JeffCharts. Meanwhile, Filipino artist Bayani Agbayani debuts "Otso Otso" at #19. Ooh I am aware of 'Higher' due to it winning the latest BuzzJack Song Contest! It continues to grow on me more and more each time. The chorus is starting to really hit hard.
'Don't You Want Me' is my highlight of your August favourites One of the best 80s songs ever. |

Hey Jeff! Love that Coldplay track at #1, already 5 years old which is hard to believe. It seemed so different for them at the time but in a good way, now it doesn't sound out of place at all with their more recent stuff.
'Electric Love' has such a classic timeless feel to it, and The Naked And Famous is one of my favorite bands from this decade so glad to see them here as well. Patrick Carney making Bojack's theme is quite intriguing, I've never watched the show but love the Black Keys |

@Jade: Don't You Want Me had a pretty disappointing run in the charts... The biggest thing that went against it were some lyrics that rubbed me the wrong way. Still, the fact that it made the Month End Top 25 is still quite surprising!
@Riser: I haven't really listened to much of Coldplay's songs beyond Viva La Vida and A Sky Full of Stars. I suppose I'll have to get to that at some point! And now, time for the new month! And with the new month, comes big changes! September 1st 2016 Position (Last Frame) Artist - Title (Progression) (# of frames on chart) 01 (1) Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall (1 - 1 - 1 - 1) (4) 02 (19) Bayani Agbayani - Otso Otso (19 - 2) (2) 03 (14) The Naked and Famous - Higher (14 - 3) (2) 04 (11) Carly Rae Jepsen - Store (12 - 11 - 4) (3) 05 (17) The Minds of 99 - Hurtige Haender (20 - 17 - 5) (3) 06 (10) Les Trois Accords - Hawaiienne (13 - 10 - 6) (3) 07 (3) Kevin Morby - Parade (13 - 6 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 7) (10) 08 (16) Laura Pausini ft. Kylie Minogue - Limpido (19 - 16 - 8) (3) 09 (18) Stromae - Quand c'est? (18 - 18 - 9) (3) 10 (13) Glass Tiger - My Town (16 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 4 - 1 - 3 - 3 - 6 - 3 - 5 - 5 - 7 - 7 - 6 - 7 - 6 - 10 - 11 - 13 - 10) (29) 11 (9) The 1975 - Somebody Else (14 - 12 - 8 - 8 - 9 - 9 - 11) (7) 12 (2) Pink Guy - Pink Life (4 - 2 - 12) (3) 13 (12) The 1975 - The Sound (7 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 4 - 7 - 8 - 10 - 13 - 12 - 9 - 10 - 13 - 14 - 18 - 14 - 12 - 13 - 9 - 9 - 7 - 9 - 10 - 12 - 13) (29) 14 (5) The Chainsmokers & Tritonal ft. Emily Warren - Until You Were Gone (5 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 3 - 3 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 5 - 14) (13) 15 (15) Christine and the Queens - Photos Souvenirs (16 - 12 - 11 - 14 - 15 - 15) (6) 16 (20) Patrick Carney - Bojack's Theme (1 - 1 - 1 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 5 - 8 - 9 - 12 - 15 - 20 - 16) (13) 17 (4) BØRNS - Electric Love (3 - 2 - 4 - 17) (4) 18 (7) The Chainsmokers ft. The new songs are utterly storming the Top 10 in today's chart! While the top spot remains unchanged as "Every Teardrop" holds at #1 for a fourth week, the 2nd best chart run since "My Town" and its 6-frame run at the top last month, almost every spot is occupied by a new song surging into the Top 10. Here's the run down:
Stay tuned to see how the battle in the Top 10 will progress! -JeffRayGun This post has been edited by JeffRayGun: 3rd September 2016, 08:41 PM |

Well, this is embarassing... for several days I've had the wrong song title for the Kevin Morby song. It was actually "Parade", not "Danger"! I feel silly, especially since I have to go modify every instance of it on my charts. xD

Even fewer have done so consecutively: 9 songs have notched at least 6 days in a row at #1! Today is also a good day to be Kanye West on the JeffCharts, since the rapper has debuted 3 songs on the Top 20! Black Skinhead vaults in at #3, On Sight at #12 and All of the Lights ft. Rihanna nabs #15. As for the gains, Otso Otso rebounds 11-7, Pink Life continues its rebound as it moves 9-8, Electric Love bounces back into the Top 10 as it vaults 17-10. Stay tuned to see what happens tomorrow! More debuts are bound to happen as well! -JeffRayGun |

Ooh You have charted two of my favourite Kanye songs here! I think 'Black Skinhead' peaked at #2 for me so I wonder if that will end up being the same for you.
'All Of The Lights' is such a bold and brilliant song. Though the less said about the video the better. |

@HarryEzra: That song is growing on me too. At first I didn't like the drop at all because it didn't seem to really "drop" at all, but I like it more now
Since I'm busy with school now, and making each chart takes up a fair amount of time, I've decided to streamline the process and just decided to take a snapshot of my Excel file from now on. I had to modify it to have the length of the stay and the song's chart progression, but it's far easier to do now! Just gotta update it once and BAM! (You can click on the image if you're having trouble viewing it) Mv = Movement # = Number on today's chart LF = Number on previous frame (chart) PK = Peak TF = Total frames spent on chart New #1! Carly Rae Jepsen finally grabs the top spot with "Your Type", her 4th song to hit the charts! Run Away With Me, one of Carly's previous hits, returns at #11! The song previously peaked at #3 in February. Meanwhile, Sugar Sugar holds #2 as Closer moves upwards 4-3, Black Skinhead retreats 3-4, All of the Lights falls from the top to #5, Travis' Sing roars 19-6. Electric Love falls 6-7, while Quand c'est rebounds 18-8. Something I Can Never Have bounces into the Top 10, moving 17-9. Store holds at #10, rounding up the Top 10. Christine and the Queens' "Photos souvenirs" spends its 10th day in the charts! Hooray! Stay tuned for Sept 6th's chart, coming up in a moment's notice! -JeffRayGun P.S: If images are a taboo around here, lemme know. |

And now, have the Sept. 6th update!
Carly Rae Jepsen holds #1 for a 2nd day with "Your Type", extending her longest (and only) stay at the top. "Sing" by Travis jumps 6-2, while "Closer" by The Chainsmokers and Halsey holds at #3. "Run Away With Me" returns to the Top 10 as it runs up 12-4. "Sugar Sugar" by The Archies falls 2-5, and "All of the Lights" drops 5-6. "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" surges back to the Top 10, vaulting 13-7. "Black Skinhead" falls 4-8, while "On Sight" returns to the Top 10, moving 11-9. "Electric Love" rounds up the top 10, falling 7-10. See you on the next update! -JeffRayGun |

Hey there Jeff
Glad to see the re-entry for 'Run Away With Me' as that was definitely a big musical highlight last year! Plus 'Your Type' was another strong single from her. A shame neither did much commercially when 'I Really Like You' had no trouble doing so over here! |

@Jade: Run Away With Me is an amazing song. Its run back in February this year was absolutely disappointing though... Hopefully this time around will make it a bigger hit!
Time for the update! Quebec takes over in this chart update! Popular Quebec 90s rock band "Les Colocs" takes the #1 from Carly with "Tassez vous de d'là", which seems to be the very first Quebec #1 song on the JeffCharts! Took a while, considering that's where I am from actually... xP Anyway, "Sing" by Travis holds #2 for a 2nd day, while "Your Type" falls 1-3. "Run Away With Me" holds its #4 position. Les B.B, another Quebec band which was popular in the late 80s/early 90s, takes #5 with "Donne-moi ma chance". Coldplay's "Every Teardrop..." is regaining from its harsh fall as it continues back up 7-6. "On Sight" by Kanye West reaches a new peak, moving 9-7. "Closer" falls hard 3-8, "Sugar Sugar" drops 5-9, and "Black Skinhead" falls 8-10. Stay tuned for more! -JeffRayGun |

Hey there Jeff!
Loving the Carly songs here, I've been a big fan of hers since before even Call Me Maybe impacted here, it's great to see so much love for her new material even if I prefer the Kiss album! Also loving seeing Electric Love in this chart, a great track Excellent stuff *.* |

@JosephStyles: I only got into her music recently (read: last February) after having been exposed to the massive Carly fandom on the Popheads subreddit for a while. She's definitely up there in my list of favourite pop artists, and definitely somewhere in my "favourite female artists" list.
Here's the update: Closer finally broke me, and it reached #1 on massive "mindplay" gains for the day. Not far behind it, however, is Justin Timberlake with "FutureSex/LoveSound" debuting at #2, and proving a close match for #1 tomorrow! Les B.B. rise 5-3 with "Donne moi ma chance", while "Run Away With Me" remains static at #4 for another day. "Your Type" falls 3-5, "Tassez vous de d'là" falls 1-6, Kanye gains with "Black Skinhead which rebounds 10-7. "On Sight" falls 7-8, "All of the Lights" rises 11-9, and "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" drops 6-10. Additionally, Rihanna debuts "Kiss It Better" at #20, marking the artist's 5th song to chart, including features. Her last hit was back in 2015 with Russian Roulette, which hit #1 for a day in the tail-end of April that year. Stay tuned for the next chart! -JeffRayGun |
