So David Guetta makes a cover of 'Would I Lie To You', literally just months after John Gibbons already did the same thing. Unsurprisingly the Gibbons version is a lot better than this, have a listen anyway if you want. Can't see it being a hit.

I heard a bit of the 2004 UK dance scene in there so maybe TheSnake will like this
Chris Willis sounds better in this than in "Getting Over You" |

Here is full version. And yeah I agree that Gibbons version is more interesting.

There's literally zero interesting, fresh or good about this song. Flush.

Well compared to the 'Shot You Down' remake it's practically a masterpiece.
But yeah, I'm not gonna really be returning to this. |

This is really dull and totally uninspiring. I hope the stuff on his upcoming album is a lot better than this trash.

Banal, as bland as Calvin Harris's recent releases.

I heard a bit of the 2004 UK dance scene in there so maybe TheSnake will like this Chris Willis sounds better in this than in "Getting Over You" I don't really like the high pitched vocal bit (that reminds me of the worst of 2004 - Discoland and Hungry Eyes ) I do like Chris Willis' voice though. The John Gibbons track is better overall and is more like mid 00s funky house (It particularly reminds me of the Ai No Corrida cover by Uniting Nations) |

It reminds me more of let's go but definitely similar to other singles he's done. I think he's starting to run out of ideas as last few songs haven't been as good. What about returning to disco house like Ready For The Weekend or progessive house/trance like I'm Not Alone. I would welcome a return to either style by Calvin, I.just dont like his current one much. |

I really liked under control, blame and pray to god. I feel this era has been a let down so far compared to motion.
