Voted, and I think this might be my last semi for a good while I struggled to find more than about 5 songs I wanted to vote for and even then my top 2 feel more like they'd be 5 or 6pts ish any other month. I feel so out of touch with BJSC with the amount of times this year or so I've proclaimed a semi to be one of the worst I've ever been in!

I hope I can vote. Have been really busy all last week doing the moving to another town preparations, the actual moving itself and there's no internet in the apartment I am now renting so oops I guess it depends on whether I can get it working today. And I am off to Moscow (once again praying I won't get a stalked + killed package from AlexRange) at like 4pm so if I've not voted before that time I sadly won't be doing so at all. 🙊

Why are all 'drops' in 2016 now an exercise to create the most annoying collection of sounds that completely ruin a great song? Part of me misses the generic drops that all sounded the same.

Just sent my votes! That was more difficult than expected, I had around 20 songs I wanted to give points to.

Votes in. That was a very nice semi, wasn't anything I really object to at the moment and I did find a great top 10. I fear a lot of the songs that just missed my votes aren't going to qualify though which would be a shame.

Just voted and I feel like I've got a VERY varied Top 10! It does feel very, very, very wrong when I look at who I've given my top points to though but you've got to vote on the song and not the country!

YESSS Someone with the same opinion as me. Chainsmokers - Don't Let Me Down has some lovely vocals and instrumentation but then comes in the annoying drop to ruin it for me. If you remember the trance and funky house eras (2000-2006) there were no real strong drops in dance songs, trance was about the buildup and funky house was disco influenced so tended to flow more. The end of 2006 saw electro which started the emphasis on the harsh sounding drop (Fedde Le Grand and Bodyrox etc) and since then it has been all about the drop. I did really like and miss the dubstep era though . |

The dream of a 0 pointer continues to be but a dream. Everyone has now received points! x Fairly sure I could get that nul pointer, and with a track I love too. This could be my next challenge Voted. Decent semi, and not enough love for Harmonica is being expressed, so I'm expressing it |
