Will Little Mix stay on top of the singles chart for a 4th week, or will James Arthur re-take the #1 position, also Clean Bandit are also in the race for the #1 spot collaborating with Sean Paul and Anne-Marie with their single 'Rockabye', unless Bruno Mars sneaks past them with '24k Magic'. New singles from Sigma featuring Birdy 'Find Me', Tom Zanetti feat. Sadie Ama 'You Want Me', another new single from the Chainsmokers this time collaborating with XYLØ 'Setting Fires' and Little Mix 'F.U.'. Robbie Williams could also scrape a new entry with 'Party Like A Russian' inside the top 40. On the X Factor results show on Sunday Robbie Williams and Emeli Sande are both performing, so expect 'Hurts' to climb back up the chart. Also the MTV EMAs are transmitted on Sunday evening on Channel 5, hosted by Bebe Rexha, performances and winners might give an extra boost to old and current chart music, personally I prefer to watch BBC1 Planet Earth II with David Attenborough. In the album chart, the race is hotting up with Robbie Williams and Bon Jovi, both acts release new albums for the former 'The Heavy Entertainment Show' and the latter 'This House Is Not For Sale'. Alicia Keys also releases a new album titled 'HERE' vying for a top 10 position. Also new albums from Michael Ball & Alfie Boe, Kungs, and Honeyblood. The race for the Christmas #1 album is nearly upon us, there are still big album hitters yet to come from Emeli Sande, Little Mix, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, The Weeknd, Kate Bush, Sting, Rolling Stones and the long awaited album from Metallica. Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue. - Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. - To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads. |

The battle for Xmas #1 album is pretty interesting must say. You should add Drake to that list

Among other big album hitters still to be released The Weeknd and Kate Bush. This week Robbie and Bon Jovi should be the top 2, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are doing really well on amazon so they should be top five. I am als curious to see where Queen's On Air album enters

Bon Jovi's last five Studio Albums all have peaked at number 2, they could indeed be on course for six in a row but will face strong competition from Michael Buble, Elvis and B&B.
Robbie should comfortably make the top spot. |

I'm guessing Robbie Williams will unfortunately snatch the no1 album but sales might only be about 50k.

I hope Bon Jovi can manage at least number 2 with decent sales but i have a feeling this will be the first studio album in long time from them to miss the top 2

In all honesty I don't think Bon Jovi will even get top 4! I think it'll end up something like...
01. Michael Buble 02. Robbie Williams 03. Elvis Presley 04. Michael Ball/Alfie Boe 05. Bon Jovi 19-ish Alicia Keys (could start off top 10, but end up mid-low top 20 by the end of the week) |

Lmao I swear Bon Jovi purposefully pick release weeks to get #2 albums. (although yeah this might not even be that high - Robbie will surely be #1 though?)

So do we have a three way battle this week then?
LM: #2 on iTunes, #2 on Spotify CB: #1 on iTunes, #5 on Spotify JA: #4 on iTunes, #1 on Spotify I'm thinking 1- LM 2- CB 3- JA This post has been edited by 🎄cqmerqn🎄: 6th November 2016, 11:45 AM |

Yeah he could, but I think Michael Buble's BBC show and the news that appeared over the weekend have helped him out, quite a lot. I imagine it'll be closer than people think between Buble and Williams and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same sort of 2nd week victory ala Evlis vs Little Mix last year.

I think it's Little Mix this week, then Clean Bandit will overtake.

Yeah, I'm not expecting brilliant numbers from Robbie tbh. Take the Crown, IIRC, sold 83k on debut week and, despite Swing Both Ways selling a better 126k or something, I wouldn't be surprised if this album didn't even manage Silver status on first week, especially if Michael Buble failed to do so as well. That could obviously still be more than enough to take the #1 spot, but it depends on what sort of boost Buble has received.

I find it funny that Bublé is selling more in the UK than in the US and also is more popular than in Canada
Bublé and Elvis, what IS your problem UK!?!?! |
