Robbie Williams based on sales so far should be on target for 75,000, would this be a fair guess? I think it be far less, pre-orders would have been included in the first update, sorry I had 34k on the brain, could be around 75k depends how much it slowed after the weekend. |

It looks unlikely for Rae Sremmurd to score their first top 40 this Friday but let's hope they get it the Friday after

The bundle was actually £5.99 it's clearly working for them anyway, and a sale is a sale so it isn't a "gimmick"... £3 for the bundle excluding the pre-sale code And of course it's a gimmick getting 3 sales from 1 fan, making 5,000 bundles sold into 15,000 sales. |

I assume the presale code alone only has a £3 cost to encourage people to buy the bundle. It won't be putting them at a loss cause it will cost nothing to send out emails with presale codes, you're basically paying for the CDs + download and getting the presale code free |

The battle for Xmas #1 album is pretty interesting must say. You should add Drake to that list But the Xmas #1 album is usually won by someone who appeals to a very wide, generally MOR, demographic - e.g. Adele, Michael Buble, Take That, Robbie. Plus a large proportion of Xmas album sales are by people buying albums for someone else, rather than fans of an artist buying an album for themselves. |

Yes but I agree with SKOB it is a little more unpredictable this year than recent years. I guess there is a hope (from record companies) that Emeli Sande or Bruno Mars can get big Sales in the run-up to Xmas but it is still a bit of an unknown at the moment whether these Albums will be big enough to sustain a multi-week residency at the top. |

I personally can't see past either Little Mix or Elvis for the Xmas #1 album~ Get Weird was selling strongly throughout December so i see the same happening with their new one, but Elvis will be a big christmas seller too

Yeah! Clean Bandit have increased their advantage over Little Mix (47,540 x 43,255).
Juju on That Beat now #40. No sign of Sigma in the top 40 anymore. Robbie Williams album is performing impressively, with figures of 59,825. Bon Jovi now #5. This post has been edited by Jason: 9th November 2016, 06:07 PM |

I'd imagine if The Vamps are still top 20 on Wednesday night, they're pretty safe for the Top 40 on Friday.
Very happy to see Clean Bandit appear to have number one wrapped up. The changover seems to be around 3/4 weeks nowadays which isn't too bad I guess. |

Do you have only top 40 info Martin?
Does anyone know where's Sigma please? Also reading on Music Week website (I'm a subscriber) that Bon Jovi have dropped 2 places to #5. This post has been edited by Jason: 9th November 2016, 07:46 PM |
