Its been announced that The Grand Tour will start on 18th November 2016 on Amazon Prime with one episode per week for 12 weeks (which apparently some people are not happy about as they wanted to binge watch it! )
Clarkson, Hammond and May will present the show from a tent in various locations, with the first location recorded in South Africa back in July. Its also going to be recorded in California and more locations to be announced. I'm really REALLY looking forward to see and can't wait to see how it works out. I've been binge watching old episodes of Top Gear recently and I love the challenges that they do. And I've signed up to Amazon prime ready for it to begin now since they've changed the membership to include an option of paying £7.99 a month rather than £79 per year. |

That's a great move to chance Amazon Prime to monthly! I never understood why they only charged it yearly because surely monthly attracts more potential customers? £8 looks far more attractive that £80 even if you'll spend more!
Will be interesting to see how this does, not that we'll ever really truly know! They've spent a LOT of money on it but Amazon have yet to have a show that people talk about and becomes part of popular culture in the same way as House of Cards/Orange is the New Black/Making a Murderer/Stranger Things has for Netflix. I'm sure this will continue to gain a lot of publicity but will people sign up to watch it? |

It's HERE!!!!!!
I've watched it and it was bloody good. It was basically just Top Gear tbh but Top Gear like Top Gear should be done not the national embarrassment that was the Chris Evans show. |

I watched it on Friday, I wasn't crazy about that episode, but I never really liked the Top Gear episodes which were 'just' about the cars. I'm not really a very car person and I enjoy the challenges and adventures more.
Its great to see the guys back though, and the bit at the beginning was brilliant |

I'd probably agree with that. I was howling at points.
"The American" is f***ing atrocious though. |

Are they putting the whole season up at once or putting one episode a week up?

Best special they've done as The Grand Tour!
Not sure if they've shown both episodes on Amazon together, but I managed to watch both over the weekend, the second ep is hilarious |
