Like you, 'Hung Up' is probably my absolute fave ever and I'd really have loved to see that go through and slay, but I couldn't deny the love from pretty much all for 'Like a Prayer', whereas I was aware 'Hung Up' had its haters. Besides, 'Like a Prayer' has grown to become one of my top favourites too - years back, I recall not being overly fond of it but I've had many a moment to it in recent times on nights out. It's such a uniting song and the final moments of the song are utterly euphoric and joyous with the clapping and whooping of the choir. |
