Why is 'All Around The World' listed twice and with two different years? I'm pretty sure the version on the CD single is 9:20.

The second one's meant to be 'D'ya Know What I Mean?'.

I'm kinda shocked to learn that 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is 'only' 6 minutes long. I thought it was missing from the list at first!

The video edit is slightly shorter at 5:23, the album version is 6:19 though.

The single version is 5:22.

(EDIT: also going to remove 'Frozen' and 'Everything I Do' as apparently the single versions were shorter - if anyone knows more about the single versions of other songs I've listed tell me)

I didn't realise 'Stan' was that long. Guess it flies by when you're in it.

It wasn't. The radio edit was released a while after the full length version and didn't make as much of a chart impact.

One for the oldies, Laurie Anderson's 'O Superman' came in at 8:21, I was convinced it got to number 1 but in fact it stalled at number 2.

I'm guessing it's no coincidence that We Are The World was one second longer than the record holder at the time.

Wait oops just saw I Feel Love. That probably had a radio edit that was shorter.

I Feel Love was 5.53. Jack Your Body was 3.13. The figures on that list for those two refer to the 12 inch singles.

The I Feel Love 7" wasn't as long as that so you need to remove that too.

More single versions:

Madonna - Hung Up - 3:23
https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Hung-Up/release/557274

All Saints - Never Ever - 5:15
https://www.discogs.com/All-Saints-Never-Ev...release/1073077

The Prodigy - Breathe - 3:59
https://www.discogs.com/Prodigy-Breathe/release/1330378

Michael Jackson - You Are Not Alone - 4:29
https://www.discogs.com/Michael-Jackson-You.../release/776178

Madonna - Like A Prayer - 5:19
https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Like-A-Prayer/release/707008

On the other hand, I believe the CD single of Madonna - Frozen contained the full 6:11 version:
https://www.discogs.com/Madonna-Frozen/release/35527

Also, the 7:53 version of Meat Loaf was on some versions of the single, but I don't know if the one that sold most in the UK had that or the 5:25 edit.

Edit: Meat Loaf's catalogue number on the chart at the time is for a release with the 7:53 version, which I would *guess* reflects the main UK release:

The single version of 'Three Times A Lady' by Commodores was 3:35. It was the album version that was 6:39 in length...
