A couple of useful links:
https://www.racingpost.com/racecards/32/ain...17-04-08/667345 The racecard for the Grand National. The 40 horses from 1-40 are running unless anyone drops out then say the 41st horse would then be granted a run. Grand National Guide |

Highland Lodge loves the National fences worth a punt each-way.

Surely I can't be the only person looking forward to the Grand National?
The 40 runners will be declared tomorrow. Start of the Aintree festival tomorrow. Yay! |

Highland Lodge loves the National fences, Me go Blaklion, Highland Lodge, O'Faolains Boy and Doctor Harper. We know he does. Great win for Tea For Two in the Bowl over Cue Card. Remember some bookies will payout for the first 5 or 6. Have a look at betting firms that are doing that. |

Guess no-one is, oh well. I'm on: Uncello Conti Shantou Flyer Bishops Road Drop Out Joe Stellar Notion Saphir Du Rhea End of the day it's a complete lottery. It's uncommon that the 'best' horse technically wins. A lot of mine are punts, because you never know with this race and especially in the big meetings in general. |

Ucello Conti + Vieux Lion Rouge are two I've had moderate success with in the past so leaning towards them at the minute. Like our Ren said though, it really is anyone's guess.
Today was a fun day for horse racing. Had three winners and a second in the first four races then absolutely shithoused the last two races and barely broke even. ONWARDS. UPWARDS. |

Big price winners yesterday at 50/1 there.
A complete lottery indeed. A horse who stays, jumps will win. Could be an outsider again. |

I put £3 each way on Ucello Conti & La Vaticane. I have high hopes for the former, but not for the latter (whom I only put a bet on because of its name). My mum's put money on Wonderful Charm, because she wants Katie Walsh to win.
