🔥🚀🔥 Joined: 30 August 2010 Posts: 74,536 User: 11,746	Thermo's hot hits • chart #347 • 21/04/17 the hottest songs of the week Crownnote • Last.fm • Chart Archive • Chart Runs Archive • Chart Statistics • New Entry Log Listen Chart Analysis Clean Bandit easily keep the number one for a fifth week with 'Symphony', now tying with 'Saving Light' for most weeks spent at number one in 2017 and unless something really unexpected happens next week it'll be set to beat that record. It is now one month since it entered at the top and it still doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon. Oliver Moldan remains at number two with current BJSC entry 'High & Low'. It is the song's 11th week inside the top ten and with it only peaking now it looks likely to rack up one of the biggest chart runs of the year. Even more impressively, Jax Jones CLIMBS back up to number three with 'You Don't Know Me', from now on known as 'that song that just won't go anywhere'. It spends its 16th week inside the top five and somehow still sounds fresh and proper amazing. Completing the top five are Just Us, down a place to number four with 'Cloudbusting', as well as Kygo who climbs to number five with 'It Ain't Me'. It becomes his third top five hit following 'Firestone' (#2, 2014) and 'Nothing Left' (#4, 2015) and is already racking up a very healthy chart run. Zara Larsson spends her 18th week in the top ten with 'I Would Like', remaining at number six. Martin Jensen bounces back to number seven with 'Solo Dance', on his 7th week in the top ten. Gareth Emery slips to number nine with former number one 'Saving Light', spending its 10th week in the top ten. Returning to the top ten at number ten is Petit Biscuit with 'Sunset Lover' to spend his 6th week there after a nine week gap. Impressively he has spent 15 weeks in the top 15 so far. The only new entry in the top ten comes from Future, whose 'Mask Off' jumps five places to number eight. Casualties of the top ten are Calvin Harris' 'Slide', which does just that down to number 12, as well as offaiah's 'Run' - down to number 13. One new song enters the top 20, Zara Larsson's album track 'TG4M' which has been gaining steadily ever since it was released five weeks ago. Outside the top twenty four songs enter the top 40, and songs by Martin Solveig and Jason Derulo continue to climb to new peaks. The highest new entry comes from Driftmoon featuring DSharp whose trance instrumental 'Genesis' was entered to BJSC and now makes a chart impact here at #25. Drake re-enters the top 40 with 'Blem' at a new peak of #28 and Leon Else featuring Oliver leaps from #50 to #29 with 'The City Don't Care'. Lastly, Lady Gaga released her latest single 'The Cure', and unlike her singles from the 'Joanne' era this one actually makes an impact in the top 40. It enters at #30 this week. Her last top 40 entries came in November 2013 when 'Artpop' was released, and album tracks 'Sexxx Dreams' and 'Dope' made a small impact, entering at #25 and #26 respectively. That's all then. It'll be incredibly difficult for anything to top it this year, and it'll probably remain at #1 for another 5 weeks at least. Jax Jones has racked up an amazing run, I really should've put it at #1 but at the time I was preferring the Aly & Fila song (which is now out of my top 40!). Probably Selena's biggest hit here I think. 10 11 16 Petit Biscuit ~ Sunset Lover \| 20-10-8-7-7-10-12-13-13-11-11-14-14-14-11-10- Hmm this song is 2-year-old now. I like it, the beginning reminds me of Faded. 15 18 11 Bakermat ~ Baby \| 75-41-15-15-13-14-17-19-19-18-15- I thought this could be a minor hit in the UK, but I was wrong. 30 NE 01 Lady Gaga ~ The Cure \| 30- Her best in a long long time. Good chart! So wrong Disciples On My Mind is not a big hit here though. Symphony has a healthy lead in the midweeks, so it should happen. It's by far her biggest hit in my chart anyway, I'm not a fan of hers otherwise (though I did chart Hands To Myself and a few others) I know but it only took off on Spotify recently, didn't know of it beforehand. It's great though. Sadly I had a feeling that nothing would happen with it. So many songs I love now go nowhere. The Cure is a massive improvement on her last era, I hope she continues in this direction. On My Mind is growing for me, should be top 40 here soon enough. thanks Jason. Born This Way, Judas and Applause all spent one week at number one. Rihanna really improves that Kendrick song, otherwise I do find Kendrick overrated but 'HUMBLE.', 'LOYALTY.' and 'DNA.' are all great. I like the Lana song, hope it gives her a top 40 hit that 'Love' should've been.
