Meh. City only drawing at Boro is a reprieve.
0-0 would have been a more accurate result. Our penalty was a poor call and no way did they deserve that free kick. Same ref as the derby and hes a Leeds fan. |

Same ref as the derby and hes a Leeds fan. It's funny because you are now on your best ever unbeaten run, but you also have the most draws ever in one season (joint!). And I can see that increasing again. Top 4 is still completely wide open. I could see Liverpool dropping points tomorrow knowing the way this season is going. |

Jose's MO is always to sort out the defence first and it's worked well but to be fair he didn't have much work to do. It's not as if we shipped in much last year.
I don't buy the fatigue excuse so much for today. Sure it's a factor that we've played 9 games on an injury impacted squad but I think it's more of a case of people not really putting a proper shift in against relegation fodder - because the Semi-Final is Thursday. De Gea just watching that free kick soar past him was infuriating, he just couldn't be arsed. I think we're out of the top4 now, we needed a win today - especially as City drew as well. If we qualify for the final then Palace are going to play against our under 23s The only hope is that Liverpool continue to be Liverpool and drop points against the bottom end of the table. The only way we leap you is by winning the game in hand and matching your results. I think I'd say the league will finish: Chelsea, Spurs, City, LPool, United, Arsenal, Everton. I think the order all depends on what United do away to Spurs and Arsenal. If we take 4 points then it's game on with Liverpool but I don't see us taking more than 2. |

Superb performance from Tottenham in the North London Derby, we have definitely have to be wary of them in a couple of weeks time! The unbeaten run could come to an end when we play them.

Nothing much happened yet between Watford and Liverpool in this match.

Massive win that for Pool, hearts in mouths when that Prodl shot hit the bar I'm sure!
The fact that one or both of United & Arsenal will drop points next week I'd say pretty much assures them of top 4 now, unless they somehow lose all their remaining matches. I expect City will pip them to third with their easy run-in but that's a minor insignificance in the grand scheme of things. If we can just do the business in the Europa we could have 5 English teams in the CL again. |

If we can just do the business in the Europa we could have 5 English teams in the CL again. That was such a tense moment! Typical really, we fail to deal with an aimless cross, there's a lucky bounce and it falls to one of their players! Seen at least 4/5 of those goals happen this year. Huge 3 points as while I'm not sure we will win our last 3 games, 7 points should be enough. I just don't think Man Utd and Arsenal have enough gas in the tank. Arsenal are the team I fear the most, but I cannot see them winning all their remaining games. And Man Utd still have a difficult fixture list. Celta Vigo rested all their best players this weekend. City should pip us to 3rd, but I expect they will also drop points, so it's anyones game still. |

Would say Liverpool are just about the favorites to finish 3rd. City will drop points I reckon.

Only thing that makes me feel like City will be 3rd is that they've a game in hand so have a built in advantage there.

The Arsenal vs Man Utd match on Sunday will be a draw, I'm fairly confident of that. Both teams are almost as bad as each other when it comes to the league this season.

They have to win that game 2-0 though for them to be level with Liverpool as Liverpool have the better goals scored. Both Liverpool and Man City have favourable run-ins and both have to play teams that need the points (Palace, West Ham) to stay in the league. |

Luckily for City, our record against you is far better than against them recently.

Pretty harsh on Swansea say united weren't up for it. Thought Clement played a blinder with his high pressing tactics - they really deserved to win it imo - And Silias De Gea wouldn't have got near that free kick because as usual from Gilfy it was a cracker free kick!

Herrera was at that post until De Gea sent him back to the wall. My seat is behind that goal

Luckily for City, our record against you is far better than against them recently. Yep that's the downside for us! Our record against you recently is hit and miss. That said I think we will enjoy the bigger pitch and you Carroll is out injured isn't he? He's the type of striker we struggle against. Herrera was at that post until De Gea sent him back to the wall. My seat is behind that goal De Gea was right to move him though. Otherwise the ball to Llorente was on which would have been a tap-in if he got it over the wall. |

The shot that was taken would have clocked Ander square in the face if he'd stayed there it wouldn't have gone in period. Lot more if's and maybe's with going via Llorente, ball would have had to come in at a different angle, a bit closer to De Gea and his usually impressive shot stopping ability.
I'm not saying we would have won, but keeping Ander at the back post would have decreased their likelihood of scoring |

You just know that some idiotic fans are going to lap this up in the terraces when he comes back to playing. |

Herrera was at that post until De Gea sent him back to the wall. My seat is behind that goal Pretty decent seats!! Yeh I think the speed at which the ball came over Youngs head made it difficult for any keeper to react. De Gea can only really prepare for the strike at his side of the goal and Gilfy even said he was gonna do that if Herrara went into the post. At any rate we can both agree he is a fantastic set piece taker! |
