No. Everyone says this all the time and they manage to recover perfectly fine.
 They said it for 'Hair' and 'No More Sad Songs' and both those did perfectly fine!Garrix I assume had weekend playlists? Rita probably coz R1 have been spamming it (well, Grimshaw def has). I don't think (well from my understanding ofc) Little Mix had any playlisting beyond the new music Friday? People are so quick to judge a songs success in the first day nowadays, when you should know the pattern by now... This isn't just about being a stan, I really hate this thread on new release week regardless of the artist involved

I don't think deep house will be the next big chart trend. It was only a few years since it was dominant and I remember it becoming slightly stale by the start of 2015. The emergence of songs like 'Firestone' and 'Lean On' set the scene for the last few years.
That being said, I loved the deep house trend so hopefully I'm wrong! I do agree that the sound is still popular and plenty of the 2013-14 songs still get a good reception. |
