Afternoon all! hi.gif Bré and I will be taking over hosting duties as none of the chart mods could be around today.

As always, NO SPOILERS please! If you're unsure what counts as a spoiler, it's always better to be safe rather than sorry and not post. Anything not revealed yet on Radio 1 is considered a spoiler.

10 years since 'The Way I Are' was #1 ohmy.gif wow that's gone scarily fast. That song will always be a huge favourite for me wub.gif

15 years since 'Automatic High' charted *.* poor S Club Juniors/8 missing out on the top spot quite a few times.

good luck to Brade who will be hosting as no chart mods can do it (sometimes we're all busy!)

10 years since Timbaland beat Kate Nash by 17 copies!!! I must say we got the right #1 there, 'The Way I Are' is a proper choon. Also one year since Drake finally got kicked off #1 and in spectacular fashion, falling all the way down to #5! Without ACR too, of course.

Hope to see Calvin Harris in this week's top 3 but I think French will be ahead again due to streaming. Also would be nice for both Linkin Park re-entries to remain top 20 as a Chester tribute. I also notice it's been 15 years since 'Points of Authority/High Voltage' charted at #9 for them, I'm not aware of either of those songs though.

10 years to the week since I spent ages annoyed that I didn't buy 17 copies of Kate Nash's Foundations that week! I definitely would have done if I'd known she was in with such a close shot!

Interesting that Rihanna and Enrique were both top five that week too, both still the king and queen of eternal relevance now.

Also, much <3 to Underneath Your Clothes in 2002, such a gorgeous song. And Picture Of You deserved to be a #1 for Boyzone, for once it wasn't a cover and it was actually completely brilliant.

Lust for life for #1 plz wub.gif

Seconding this as the album is solid! It would be excellent if Lana managed to snatch it in the end and bagged herself a third #1 album here *.*

I think the highlight of today's singles chart will definitely be hearing the Linkin Park songs that have made it. heart.gif

Good luck to Brade and Jade in hosting the chart show this week, as us charts mods are rather engaged in personal affairs this late afternoon/ early evening, but I will be around 6pm with the sales as per usual.

Over to Jade and Brade... and they do have authority to tell any member off heehee.gif
