R9 is likely to come in Q4 so we could be getting a single pretty soon *.* I'd love her to come back with something very different but still believeable as HER like Russian Roulette was for example. Based on what we know she'll be staying at a more urban sound, I need her to do trap again tbh, imagine if she came back with a BBHMM style stomper *.*

I don't want her lead single to be a collab. Her biggest WW singles these last few years have all been collabs ('Work', 'This Is What You Came For', 'Too Good', 'Wild Thoughts', even 'FourFiveSeconds' before that). It's time she smashes on her own again please with 2 or 3 solo songs first.

I want a pre-extended break Rihanna release this time round. ANTI was so messy, I miss how organised it used to be with lead single in September/October and album in November.

I think ANTI was only that messy because the label wasn't confident in her new, less commercial direction. If ANTI had her traditional Q4 treatment it would've sold quite a bit more, imo! Hopefully now they've seen she can get a smash with a song like Work, they'll be more confident this time.

Also they gave away literally thousands of copies of the album for free, both with Samsung and TIDAL. I'm more surprised that it's her second most successful album in the US (behind GGGB) despite 'underperforming' elsewhere. |
