18 6.58 'Change Your Life'


Lowest: Tawdry Hepburn (1)
Highest: Cameron (9.5)



The scores for this track were quite decent. The lowest after that 1 was 4 but nobody else loved it as much as Cameron as the next highest is 8.5. So slap bang in the middle. CYL is really cute. You can tell the girls are really proud of it/you can tell that was one of the (if not thee) first song they ever wrote together. My only gripe with it really, is that Perrie ad-libs through the chorus from the first when I feel it have more impact had she saved it all for the last chorus or something.

Gutted for "How Ya Doin'?"! It's dated af (and was when it was released as a single) but in a good way. Much better than the crap "Change Your Life" and "Little Me". Shook that "Oops" is still left wub.gif

Next we have a huge fan favourite from the 'Get Weird' album. 'Weird People' made the UK Top 100 after becoming the final instant grat from the album. It was unashamedly 80's in it's vibe, the lyrics are unashamedly bonkers and all in all, it's just a huge pop song that was elevated even more with the live performance on their tour.

WHERE IS 'OOPS'? Even the girls themselves seem to hate it.

HYD is really underrated; both the video and the Missy feature are pretty great. I imagine it would've been held in higher regard if it wasn't one of their biggest flops. Still low-key mad about that midweek release and the Capital FM snub (pretty much unthinkable these days).

They played 'Move' on R1 this morning. I legitimately forgot how incredible it is; it's kind of criminal that it's one of their more forgotten hits now.

(Watch 'Move' be the song with the massive fall now).

'These Four Walls' managed to get the girls another top 60 chart entry, due to performing the song on "Surprise Surprise" and "This Morning" in the albums release week (?) Such a shame this was never a single. It's my favourite vocal performance by them. Absolutely stunning. Genuine spine tingling moment whenever I hear this. Especially the live versions. In my top 5 Little Mix songs for sure heart.gif

I think I'd heard that once before the rate. Terrible song! Their best vocal is obviously "Secret Love Song" (part 2) x
