Oh wow.

I absolutely LOVE it! Definitely agree with the 'When I Grow Up' meets 'Dirrty' comments.

I was scared that it was gonna sound dated, but I'd say it's definitely more of a throwback! It's clearly a nod to the early 00's sound, but with an updated twist/it sounds fresh!

YES Louisa. Imagine if Burkey came back with something similar to this instead of 'Shadow'? sad.gif

I would be very surprised if this did anything. It sounds like a song that would have struggled in 2007.

I can understand why people like it though - it is that very fast and noisy OTT pop sound that doesn't get made anymore. The Christina and PCD comparisons are spot on.

even if it's a hit, it's not the kinda song that sells an album
think it's a bad move for her releasing this, think they should have chosen the zara larsson path, rather than nicole's wink.gif

The charts are absolutely missing a good party-centric banger like this with a sense of FUN.

It does sound quite late 2000s, but that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned compared to some of the current turgid and tired trends.
