Hey Jordan
1. Meghan Trainor No Excuses Hmmmm, not my favourite #1 of yours this year. It's catchy enough I guess but I just find it a bit trashy? She'd done better. 2. Kendrick Lamar & SZA All The Stars [2-2] 3. Mabel feat. Not3s Fine Line [34-1-3] 4. Post Malone feat. Ty Dolla $ign Psycho Not a great fan of this either I'm afraid. I quite liked 'Rockstar' but nothing else he's done. 5. The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar Pray For Me [19-5] 6. Bebe Rexha feat. Florida Georgia Line Meant To Be [38-14-3-6-6] 7. Keala Settle This Is Me [15-7] 8. Bruno Mars & Cardi B Finesse [16-9-8] 9. Troye Sivan My My My! [32-30-9] 11. Liam Payne & Rita Ora For You [19-3-11] 12. Imagine Dragons Whatever It Takes Oooh yes, glad to see this finally make an appearance! This is deffo my favourite ID song now, and possibly my favourite single of last year 15. Justin Timberlake feat. Chris Stapleton Say Something [21-15] 17. Years & Years Sanctify I'm not getting the lukewarm reception for this, I think it's a fantastic pop song (hence its 3 weeks at #1 on my chart) - the chorus is especially glorious! 18. P!nk Beautiful Trauma [4-5-5-18] 19. G-Eazy & Halsey Him & I [23-19] 20. Camila Cabello Never Be The Same [26-20] 21. Taylor Swift feat. Future & Ed Sheeran End Game [29-21] 22. Rudimental feat. Macklemore, Jess Glynne & Dan Caplen These Days [25-22] 23. Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey The Middle [31-23] 24. Lil Dicky feat. Chris Brown Freaky Friday It's embarrassing that this is the UK #1. As much as I dislike Drake, I'd prefer him to be #1 next week over this! (Calvin x Dua would be better though). 27. Alice Merton No Roots Heard this a couple of days ago for the first time, it's pretty good isn't it? I have no idea who she is though or her background or anything. I also heard 'Lash Out' which sounds promising too. 28. Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso feat. Florida Georgia Line & Watt Let Me Go [15-13-24-28-28] 30. Drake Gods Plan Let's hope this doesn't get much higher! How did this do in the US btw? Are you guys as obsessed with him as the UK seems to be? 31. 5 Seconds Of Summer Want You Back Decent enough comeback single from them but it's a shame they've jumped on the tropical bandwagon. I guess at least the guitars are still prominent though. 33. George Ezra - Paradise Amazing that this got to #2! Ed Sheeran aside, I'm struggling to think of the last guitar based song to do that well in the UK charts! 34. Sigrid Strangers 35. Marshmello & Anne-Marie Friends Really looking forward to her loooooong awaited album 38. Bazzi Mine 39. Rita Ora Anywhere [11-5-2-11-39] 40. Craig David feat. Bastille I Know You [10-12-40] Excellent stuff as always, oh and expect a PM very shortly! |

It has been a year, and now *hopefully* becoming a proper hit on its own Thanks for commenting Hey Jordan Hey Mango!1. Meghan Trainor No Excuses Hmmmm, not my favourite #1 of yours this year. Bastille I Know You [10-12-40] Excellent stuff as always, oh and expect a PM very shortly! 1. My only real complaint is that it's a bit heard-it-all-before, especially lyrically, but other than that I'm pretty obsessed 4. I was also not a fan until 'Rockstar' but I actually like this even more! 12. It's incredible! You can expect it to climb next month! 17. Absolutely agreed 24. I'm shamelessly a fan but it's totally bizarre thinking of it as a #1 single 27. Yes! Her background is worth a read, she's lived in four or five different countries (which is probably what inspired the song!) 30. Oh yes, it's on its 10th week at #1, officially longer than 'One Dance' which only had 9! And somehow I've started to tolerate it 31. Yup. I at least prefer it to their last single, 'Girls Like Boys' or whatever it was called, but that's about it. 33. Very amazing! Maybe it was James Bay - Hold Back The River?? Or Shawn Mendes or James Arthur depending on your definition of guitar-based... 35. I can't say I'll be checking it out (this just isn't growing on me at all ), but she's definitely worked hard enough to finally have it released so I'm happy for her! Thanks very much, I'll be getting to the PM asap! No Excuses seems to be growing on me more and more as time goes on Good! Be sure to stream it nonstop like I am, poor Meghan needs it
