Following the successful BuzzJack Family Fortunes: Chart Edition (thanks awardinary!) it's...
POINTLESS CHART EDITION EPISODE 1 (GAMES ROUND 2) Hello, it's me, Midgexander Osman here and welcome to Pointless! It's pretty straightforward: try and name the correct answers that you think nobody else has answered. The player who scores the lowest of anybody will win. Example: question - name a Spice Girl. If 51 people enter and 31 people including yourself say Geri Halliwell, and your answer is Geri Halliwell, you score ((31-1)/(51-1)) x 100 = (30/50) x 100 = 60 points. If you are the only person to say Victoria Beckham, you've got a Pointless answer. You don't add any jackpot to the total though if you said Keisha Buchanan, you’d be wrong and would score (51/51) x 100 points. 1. Name any act to have performed on any of the Band Aid versions of "Do They Know It's Christmas?" (Please do not name individuals from bands, unless the individuals appear without the rest of their band) 2. Name an act from the former Soviet Union to have had a UK Top 75 hit single. (If this is a band, at least the majority of members have to be from the former Soviet Union). 3. Name any act to have had a UK number 1 hit album in 2016. (This excludes any album that peaked at number 1 prior to 2016) 4. Name any world capital city to be featured in the title of a UK Top 75 hit. (Countries must be recognised by the UN) 5. Name any act who won a BRIT award in 2018. 6. Name a UK top 10 hit single by The Saturdays. 7. Name a Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single from 2017. (This excludes any single that peaked at number 1 prior to 2017) 8. Name any Sports Relief single. 9. Name a member of Girls Aloud. 10. Name any UK number 1 single since the start of 1990 that spent 4 weeks or less in the UK top 40 singles chart. 11. Name any Eurovision act who haven't represented the UK to have had a UK Top 75 hit single. 12. Name any band starting with "The" to have had a UK top 5 hit in the 2000s. To enter, simply PM me - Midge - your answers by 11pm, Saturday 21st April 2018. Good luck! Certainly hope this can go ahead but you may have needed to run this past one of the Lounge moderators first.
Either way I’ll get started on thinking of some obscure answers! |

As a Lounge mod, I am fine with this xx The new round of Lounge Quizzes isn't gonna be starting for a few months yet, I'm more than happy for other forums to fill in the gap with quizzes of their own. |

So basically the family fortunes but you want to guess the answer that no one else has said but is still correct? Pretty much the opposite of that yes. The fun here though is that others may guess the same 'least likely' answers and they could end up being the higher scorers |

I have received 5 entries so far, thank you.
A note regarding the capital city question: you only need to give me the capital city. I have taken the capital city mentioned in your answers if you gave me full song titles. This post has been edited by Midge: 16th April 2018, 02:26 PM |
