This was apparently the other A side to 'So Macho', 'Cruising' is far superior imo and much less cheesy sounding. Should definitely have been the main one promoted and not So Macho from that double A side imo. Also in the Hi-NRG genre, this great tune, made #29 in 1986, but should have done better in the charts! I recently discovered this fab #23 hit from 1982. Great dancey electronic bop which sounds amazing for its time.

This was the Christmas no1 song in 1983, a cover of the YAzoo classic - I absolutely love it. Possibly one of the best songs of the decade (both versions)! |
