Hello Midge!
Great to see "No Tears Left To Cry" in the top 10!
I also like the big gains for "Nice For What", "Answerphone", "I Like It", "Miracle", "Everybody Wants To Be Famous", "Sit Next To Me", "Magic", "Rose-Colored Boy", "Saturday Sun", "Shotgun", "Let Me", "Done For Me" and "All Or Nothing"!
And for the debuts and re-entries that I like are: "Lonely Together", "Familiar", "Happier", "Psycho", "Bloom" and "We Got Love"!
Great chart overall!

Friend Of Mine #1 again wub.gif Ariana's overtook this week for me though kink.gif

Lovely for I Like It to be climbing. I'm not a big fan of Cardi B but this is really growing on me and could maayybe sway me over I'm not sure yet. I thought Finesse would make me go "yeah ok I like her" like Little Mix's Power did for me with Stormzy but Bruno couldn't do it laugh.gif

Wow, you like that Kanye track, I found it a bit of a mess. Maybe it will grow in time though.

I'm enjoying Familiar so nice to see it enter here and Tongue got a small increase too tongue.gif

Hello all, thanks for your comments! Prepare for Eurovision to take over quite a bit for the next couple of weeks at least, it's always a huge event in my calendar laugh.gif To my chart, it is literally like the Christmas songs in the UK singles chart laugh.gif

Thanks for your comments Sergej! A lot of these are still on the move upwards, but be patient given the time of year tongue.gif

"Bloom" is indeed on the rise! Quite a big jump this week even with the Eurovision domination (21 songs out of the 100 in the new chart are Eurovision, and that number is likely to increase next Friday).

We shared the same posthumous Avicii number 1 - for the same number of weeks as well! It was so fitting; I was rinsing it and it is a great song. A shame that I didn't realise it's full potential until something drastic like that happened.

Waiting for "I Like It" (and "She Loves Control") to be properly announced/promoted now - they're stalling/falling in my chart now at the moment, though a lot of that is Eurovision domination. They're both likely to be top of the pile once that dies down. Not sure I'm gonna be like that with Cardi (how you said), I liked her Bruno feature and I like this but nothing else so far.

The Kanye track is bizarre! I love how soulful it is, and then that last 30 seconds is just wtf haha. Can't take it too seriously but a nice debut nonetheless as it had quite an impact on me.

Thanks for commenting again! New chart up shortly.

Hi Midge,

Mercy, Fuego cheer.gif

Other great new entrances in the Upper 40: Netta Barzilai and Jess Glynne !

Bubbling Under : Troye Sivan (Bloom) and Christina Aquilera wub.gif

Great chart again !!

Thanks for the replies! You're clearly going to love today's new chart if you love "Fuego" tongue.gif

Really liking the new Jess Glynne, Sven! Surprised by the hate for it on this website. I hope it charts well. Potential number 1 for me.

Have to say, really NOT liking "Accelerate" by Christina Aguilera - it was lucky to chart really, based on impact more than a good impression laugh.gif

hi Midge!

you really love Eurovision then! not surprised to see 'Fuego' at #1 here, it is rather good and I wanted that to win, though Netta is quite good also. good to see Madame Monsieur in your top five too.
not really fussed on the Arctic Monkeys song having heard it a few times on the radio, kind of plods along really.
good to see Queen Jess in your top 20. biggrin.gif
shame our entry couldn't do any better than 24th but the song is quite poor no matter how good she was at performing it, we really need our top writers on our next entry even if they have to go by a pseudonym to avoid the embarrassment of being associated with Eurovision (if that is even allowed).

good chart!

Lot's of Eurovision here. I've never followed it (or been interested in following it) although Heroes from 2015 was a nice song... and the only one I can really remember laugh.gif The Australia entries are usually a complete bore too.

Kodaline Top 10 ohmy.gif Follow Your Fire didn't last long in my chart but I still go back to it a little bit. They've got a really great back catalog already though tongue.gif

Familiar & Better Now almost Top 40 wub.gif Shame that Shotgun is falling though sad.gif Could George Ezra climb any more now it's getting the single treatment?

Happier climbing... not sure if I think that's good or bad laugh.gif Do you know if there's a remix version coming anytime soon? I had a feeling he'd release a Kelly Clarkson version or something and debut it at the BBMA's but his performance will be from Ireland so he won't even be there laugh.gif

Hello Midge!
Now that's a Eurovision takeover!
Love the big gain for "I'll Be There"!
And a lot of debuts and re-entries I really like: most Eurovision songs, "Quarter Past Midnight", "La Cintura", "Hunger", "If You're Over Me" and "Four Out Of Five"
Great chart overall!

Hi!

Loving this Eurovision takeover wub.gif especially Fuego at number 1, suchhhhh a tune, robbed etc...
Mercy was quite a highlight for me too, kinda surprised at how much I've gone back to it this week
I really can't get into I'll Be There annoyingly sad.gif her yodelling grates me so bad even tho I'm usually a sucker for Jess Glynne tunes, either way I guess it's nice that it looks like she'll get a decent hit with it

Great Chart!

Haha, yes I do love my Eurovision! I think it gets a little bigger each year, though it felt a struggle initially this year as most of the first half of songs revealed were not good laugh.gif
Glad somebody else appreciates the new Jess - I really don't think her 'yodelling' is as abrasive as others are suggesting but different strokes tongue.gif Seems a solid pop song to me.
I really do agree re: UK Eurovision. Ed Sheeran has allegedly said he's interested in writing an entry - could either turn out very well or atrociously I guess!

Thanks for commenting smile.gif

I'm almost upset at your Eurovision dislike tongue.gif (okay I'm not really a soft touch like that haha) - come on though, Dami Im's final performance of "Sound Of Silence" elevated that to all sorts of incredible!
"Honest" and "Raging" are my favourite Kodaline songs to date - and this one is great too! Not sure if it can climb further; perhaps would've sailed into the top 10 easier if Eurovision hadn't existed. In fact it'd be top 5 this week!!
"Familiar" is a huge grower - just have to get past how unauthentic it is for Liam Payne to be doing it laugh.gif "Better Now" is great too - and "Shotgun" can now take more of a limelight now that Eurovision is over and likely to hear it everywhere. It has kind of just been charting based on listening to the album a lot so far - and knowing it's a single! So yes expect all 3 to climb over the next few weeks.

I quite like "Happier" - I do find him so hit and miss. I have no idea if a remix version is coming; to be honest, what's the point now? The album has sold astronomically well. Maybe a dance remix could help though. A Kelly Clarkson duet version would be nice but I think they really put their efforts into getting the Christmas number 1 really with "Perfect" (still not a fan).

Thanks for commenting!

Hello! I think it was because of you I even checked out "La Cintura" - great track - likely to climb somewhat! As is the new Bastille - both of these tracks making bigger and bigger impressions on me!

Hello!
A Eurovision fan as well as a dance fan? *takes note* biggrin.gif "Fuego" and "Mercy" are really the highlights for me this year - my 10/10s. "Toy" grabs a higher peak than "Mercy" did by simply impacting more this week alone; "Mercy" felt like it could've been a lot more of a moment than it was at the contest.

Jess continues to divide opinions! As I've said above, I don't think the yodelling is as abrasive as people are suggesting, but then that is my opinion - I think it's a great, catchy, uplifting little pop number that stands out among all the dross that is popular these days!

Thank you for commenting!
