This is painfully generic, which is a shame as I liked some of Dappy's older work.

sounds the same as most of these afrowave tracks, Dappy clearly trying to save his career by jumping on the trend and it looks like it'll be a hit too. it ain't that bad but it doesn't have a lot of life in it, the recent Yxng Bane and MoStack ones do it better.

It's not bad but it's also not anything new. Beautiful Me was the last thing I really liked from him, shame that version of him is gone now

Insta-added to the B-List on 1Xtra this week... I'm very surprised and slightly annoyed that this looks like being a hit. Firstly, it's nothing new and there are so many better songs from this genre around right now. Why the teenage crowd are still here for Dappy I don't really understand.

That twinkly melody sounds so much like Anitta & J Balvin's big Latin hit 'Downtown':

It is much better than I expected from a 2018 Dappy song though, I must say.

Didn't see Dappy having chart success again to be honest. 11 weeks now in the Top40 it has done well for him.

This is one of the biggest surprises in the charts this year.

Nice little story about Dappy:

My friend was a co-organiser for a festival he performed at yesterday. Dappy was apparently a right arse on and off the stage. He refused to go on until the second stage was turned off, despite a DJ already playing his set. So they shut it off, to try and get Dappy to come on. 5 minutes later, the DJ resumed his set and the crowd started to leave Dappy, so he walked off and kicked up a fuss backstage. Eventually, he went back on, but the crowd (while still reasonable) was significantly smaller.
