This week offers another #1 single for Au/Ra courtesy of Alan Walker with his new single Darkside which has climbed continuously for some weeks now. It is the most played track and means the it becomes only the fifth #1 single for 2018. Panic Room drops a place after managing 3 weeks at the top. Track of the week this week from Marshmello & Bastille moves up a place to reach a new peak, and there are also Top 10 climbs for Krystal Klear and Loud Luxury. The Chainsmokers move up 10 places this week as the biggest climbers and are at #10 with Side Effects. The highest new entry this week comes from Silk City with thanks to vocals from pop sensation Dua Lipa. It enters at #13 and a few places behind is another new entry from MK, Jonas Blue & Becky Hill. Other new entries this week are from Mabel, Disclosure and Sigala. The biggest faller this week happens to be from Tiλsto and co. Jackie Chan falls 10 places after so far managing 10 weeks in the Top 40 Countdown. There is a double exit this week from Gorgon City and it is also the end of the road for Christine & The Queens, David Guetta & Sia along with Bazzi. Chainsmokers FTW! Kinda sad that it's not doing much worldwide though, it's probably one of their best since their album.
Nice to see Silk City & MK debut! |

Hey Wardy!
1. Alan Walker feat. Au/Ra & Tomine Harket Darkside [25-9-5-3-1->5] Good #1 but comparing it to his back catalogue it's just not that impressive. 2. Au/Ra & Camelphat Panic Room [18-3-4-3-2-2-1-1-1-2->10] 3. Virtual Self Angel Voices [1-1-1-2-3-2-3->7] 4. Marshmello & Bastille Happier [5-6-5-4->4] 5. Jess Glynne All I Am [3-2-4-5->4] Oh I do hope this can stick around a bit. 6. Krystal Klear Neutron Dance [12-4-4-7-7-9-6->7] 7. Robyn Missing U [13-8-11-8-7-7->6] 8. Loud Luxury feat. Brando Body [13-12-12-15-14-7-13-12-10-8->10] 9. Dynoro & Gigi D'Agostino In My Mind [24-18-4-4-6-9->6] 10. The Chainsmokers feat. Emily Warren Side Effects [37-29-26-20-10->5] BIGGEST CLIMBER 12. FISHER Losing It [28-18-12->3] 13. Silk City & Dua Lipa Electricity [13->1] HIGHEST NEW ENTRY This is bloody fantastic! Dua is certainly creating the string of hits this year isn't she. 15. Calvin Harris & Sam Smith Promises [14-14-11-15->3] 16. The Prodigy Need Some1 [5-2-3-3-8-11-13-16->8] 17. MK, Jonas Blue & Becky Hill Back & Forth [17->1] This is just so lacklustre imo. Beckys voice is far to powerful for a track like this. 18. CliQ Clap Clap [38-34-22-16-10-10-14-18->8] 19. Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa One Kiss [8-5-6-8-11-11-16-13-15-19->10] 20. David Guetta feat. Anne-Marie Don't Leave Me Alone [34-35-32-25-20->5] 21. Chicane Nirvana [6-5-5-12-15-17-21->7] 23. Kygo & Imagine Dragons Born To Be Yours [4-4-3-4-6-6-15-21-19-23->10] 24. LSD Thunderclouds [24-24->2] 25. M-22 How Does It Feel [6-9-16-25->4] 26. Jonas Blue feat. Jack & Jack Rise [12-8-8-10-9-13-18-18-21-26->10] 29. RAYE Friends [27-29-29->3] 30. Mabel One Shot [30->1] 31. Jess Glynne I'll Be There [6-7-7-9-15-14-20-16-23-31->10] 32. Clean Bandit feat. Demi Lovato Solo [3-1-1-5-7-10-17-20-26-32->10] 33. Disclosure Where You Came From [33->1] 34. Sigala & The Vamps We Don't Care [34->1] Ahh! It's nice to see this finally enter but I'm over it now. 35. Moby This Wild Darkness [CYA Remix Edit] [19-8-9-19-22-32-35->7] 38. Tiλsto & Dzeko feat. Preme & Post Malone Jackie Chan [5-9-11-16-17-19-22-24-28-38->10] BIGGEST FALLER 39. Sigala feat. Fuse ODG, Sean Paul & Kent Jones Feels Like Home [35-16-11-10-12-24-30-35-39->9] 40. Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid Eastside [31-37-38-33-40->5] Great Chart! |

Hey there Wardy
'Panic Room' has fallen from #1 to #2 in both of our charts this week, albeit due to different songs! 'Darkside' is a good replacement as much as I love 'Panic Room'. The impact of an Au/Ra top 2 *.* elsewhere, my favourite new entry this week is the very euphoric 'Electricity', hope that'll be a top 10 hit officially soon. 'Where You Came From' was played on plug.dj recently also and sounded pretty good. Great stuff |

Hi Wardy!
Fantastic to see Darkside become your new number one! Panic Room, Happier, In My Mind and Side Effects are also great to see in the top ten. |

hi Wardy!
Au/Ra replacing herself! Well 'Darkside' is very good too. Loving the new Silk City and MK tracks, giving dance some much needed chart relevance (well MK hasn't reached top 40 yet but I'm sure he will) Where You Come From is the weakest of the new Disclosure tracks for me but I'm loving their output at the moment. great chart! |
